Talkiatry’s mission is to transform psychiatry with accessible, human, and responsible care.

We’re a national mental health practice co-founded by a patient and a triple-board-certified psychiatrist to solve the problems both groups face in accessing and providing the highest quality treatment.

60% of adults in the U.S. with a diagnosable mental illness go untreated every year because care is inaccessible, while 45% of clinicians are out of network with insurers because reimbursement rates are low and paperwork is unduly burdensome.   With innovative technology and a human-centered philosophy, we provide patients with the care they need—and allow psychiatrists to focus on why they got into medicine.

About the role:

We are actively seeking ACR’s to join our team, who will serve as the central point-of-contact for anyone looking to access initial services within Talkiatry! We are looking for an organized, reliable, customer-service driven team player to join our team. The Access Center Representative works to triage calls, streamline requests, schedule initial appointments, and provide resources while providing the highest level of customer service.

You will be:

  • Accountable for working within our IVR system, ensuring calls are answered in a timely manner, handled efficiently, and following all the workflows deemed necessary to ensure we meet our callers' needs and the benchmarks set forth by leadership.
  • Working within our Electronic Health Record System (eCW) to schedule and register clients for an Initial New Patient Appointment
  • Responsible for screening new patients, collecting demographics/insurance, scheduling with appropriate providers, uploading documentation into charts and sending all information to confirm appointments.
  • Monitor and complete tickets within our internal support ticket system, to ensure we are responding to clients and coworkers in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that providers are scheduled for the best use of time.
  • Provide resources to callers and assist them in any way possible.
  • Accountable for using work resources, collaborating with colleagues, and empowering yourself to perform at the level expected.

You have:

  • Ability to work in a remote productivity driven call-center environment
  • Experience using an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
  • Familiarity with working with dual computer monitors (may be required to use dual monitors)
