We are hiring a Vice President to oversee our revenue cycle function to help fuel Talkiatry’s growth. The successful candidate will have the ability to quickly get up to speed on our current operations, identify opportunities for improvement and implement the processes, technology and mechanisms for change. Our ideal candidate is a seasoned revenue cycle operator that thrives on getting stuff done at startup speed with an ownership mentality.
You will partner with technology, finance, and operations to build scalable processes and automations to drive efficiency. You love data and use it to inform decisions, work queues, and address gaps. Reporting, KPI’s and metrics are key for you in identifying underpayments, coding issues and denials. You understand the value of new technology including patient billing and engagement platforms, are not afraid to lead technology migrations to solve issues and thrive partnering with clinical informatics on the right system configurations.
Responsibilities:
- Revenue Cycle Expert. Full end-to-end understanding of revenue cycle metrics and management techniques
- Systems thinker. Easily breaks tasks down and develops workflows and builds reliable systems that improve efficiency, reliability, and performance
- Data and technology oriented. Fully versed in all revenue cycle metrics. Develops dashboards and leverages reports from the practice management system to support daily operations. Automates manual processes using new and innovative technology.
- Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) Management. Successful track record of managing and continuously improving DSO in a growth environment.
- High aptitude with practice management and charge capture software, ideally eClinicalWorks (eCW). Has worked with their organization’s in-house technology department, consultants, or vendors to improve the configuration and use of the system to support revenue cycle department operations.
- Takes initiative. Sees performance issues or opportunities and proactively takes action to improve revenue cycle operations
- People first orientation. You are an exceptional leader and team builder. You actively develop your people and are focused on creating a dynamic department level culture
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years in revenue cycle leadership positions
- Deep experience with billing technology including EMR’s (I.e. ECW and others), patient collections and billing partners, etc.
- Expert understanding of medical coding, documentation, and auditing
- History of working closely and partnering with payors
