Chief Financial Officer

Apply Today

We were co-founded by a patient and a triple-board-certified psychiatrist to solve the problems both groups face in accessing and providing the highest quality mental healthcare.

60% of adults in the U.S. with a diagnosable mental illness go untreated every year because care is inaccessible, while 45% of clinicians are out of network with insurers because reimbursement rates are low and paperwork is unduly burdensome.

With innovative technology and a human-centered philosophy, we provide patients with the care they need—and allow psychiatrists to focus on why they got into medicine.

We’re hiring a Chief Financial Officer to help drive Talkiatry’s growth and strategy execution. The successful candidate will be able to rapidly get up to speed on our business model and integrate seamlessly with our executive leadership team. Our ideal candidate is a seasoned builder that thrives on getting stuff done at startup speed with an ownership mentality.

You partner with technology and operations to create unique solutions to classic healthcare issues. You love numbers, unit economics, ROI’s, payback periods, LTC/CAC optimization, and you understand how that translates to operational leverage and change in a management services organization while maintaining or increasing quality standards. This role reports directly to the CEO.

  • Insightful: understands the economics of a profitable business, stays up to date and current on industry trends, competitors and others in the marketplace
  • Sensible: Understands the difference between growth for growths sake and building a sustainable business with a large moat around it. OK differing from the pack and resisting market forces in order to build a winning and differentiated model
  • Go-Getter: Readily takes action on challenges, digs in and gets their hands dirty, asks “why” until they get a satisfactory answer or discover a problem, builds bridges across the organization and speaks up to express their view while respecting others
