We are seeking a Data Scientist - Marketing to join our highly-collaborative technology team. You will be responsible for curation and manipulation of datasets as well as data analysis and algorithm design. The data scientist will use their broad knowledge of applied mathematics and statistics to create new algorithms to interpret, manipulate, and derive actionable insights.

Essential Functions:

  • Partner with the Marketing team and provide support on experimental design, analysis, reporting, and decision making
  • Create, maintain, and deploy predictive models and data products
  • Design and carry out experiments and analyses with product / design teams
  • Contribute to business reporting and ad-hoc analyses
  • Lead data related projects end to end, from requirements gathering all the way to deployment in production
  • Be a subject matter expert on data, research, and analysis for both the team and the company
  • Present complicated technical concepts and results to leadership and non-technical audiences

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related discipline – Master’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in Data Science, Business Intelligence, or a related role working with data and carrying out advanced data analysis
  • Strong understanding of marketing analytics, with extensive domain knowledge and familiarity working with different marketing channels, platforms, and tools
  • Proficiency with statistical analysis and data mining
  • Experienced in predictive modeling, a/b testing, and experimental design
  • Proficiency with SQL and Python
  • Familiarity with at least one BI tool (ThoughtSpot, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
  • Experience working within cloud computing environments such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
  • Comfort working in a dynamic environment with several ongoing concurrent projects
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally with team members of all levels
  • Experience with product development
  • Experience with building end-to-end pipelines and putting models in production
