She emphasizes a collaborative approach that comes from building a strong therapeutic relationship with patients to help them achieve their goals and realize their potential.
Dr. Jiang’s practice focuses on medication management, being mindful of each patient’s unique personal experiences and social and cultural background. Typically, she offers this in conjunction with supportive or emotionally focused therapy in 30-minute follow-up visits. In some cases, Dr. Jiang may recommend that additional therapy is needed and ask that you bring a therapist into your care team to provide the best outcome.
Dr. Jiang has a long-standing interest in the intersection of the mind and the brain. She studied neuroscience at Duke University and received her medical degree from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency training in psychiatry at Westchester Medical Center, where she served as chief resident. She has experience treating a diverse patient population in various settings, including emergency, inpatient, and outpatient. She is particularly interested in learning about how each person’s lived experience contributes to the person they are today, and to help them deepen an understanding of themselves, empowering them to live their lives to the fullest.
