Annmarie Johnson-Rowe MSN, ANP-BC, PMHNP-BC, NMF is a double Board Certified as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Adult health Nurse Practitioner. She completed her psychiatry training at Kingsbrook hospital, Catholic Charities, and New York University. She has practiced in various settings over her career including in-patient and community mental health as well as out-patient, nursing homes on both long term and short-term units. She was a proud owner of her own private practice. NP Johnson-Rowe has held leadership and teaching positions where she instructed Nurse Practitioner students. She has more than 9 years of experience treating patients. Her area of specialty includes depression, bipolar disorders, psychosis, anxiety, psycho-oncology, PTSD, grief, and caring for clients who experience domestic abuse.
She treats adults and geriatrics using an integrative and collaborative approach. She uses pharmacotherapy along with cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, and supportive therapy as needed. The philosophy of her practice is to collaborate with patients to meet their specific needs to make an impact in various stages of their life.
