Dr. Anamah is a Board-Certified Psychiatrist in adult and geriatric psychiatry. Dr. Anamah has been in practice for 3 years providing care for patients with varied psychopathologies in both in and outpatient settings.

Dr. Anamah received her medical degree from Abia State University in Nigeria before moving to Ireland where she started her psychiatry training as a Senior House Officer and later a Registrar with the Health Service Executive, Carlow/Killkenny & Laois/Offlay. Dr. Anamah continued her training in psychiatry after moving to the United States where she completed a residency program at Elmhurst Hospital, New York where she served as Chief Resident in her final year. She then completed a fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry at Icahn School of Medicine, Mount Sinai Hospital.

Dr. Anamahs' practice focuses on medication management along with supportive therapy and providing psychoeducation to her patients. She promotes mental health wellness and collaborates with patients to achieve their desired goals. Occasionally Dr. Anamah may believe that additional therapy is also needed and ask that you bring a therapist into your care team to provide the best outcome.
