Dr. Elizabeth Marron is board-certified in adult psychiatry. She completed her undergraduate degree in Anthropology from Texas A&M University. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) and completed her psychiatry residency at UTMB. She was the Outpatient Chief Resident during her third year of training. During her training, she also worked with a diverse population of acute care patients at Rock Prairie Behavioral Health and Baptist Beaumont Behavioral Health.
Dr. Marron’s practice focuses on medication management and a holistic approach to patient care. Typically, she offers this in conjunction with supportive therapy in 30-minute follow-up visits. However, Dr. Marron may believe that additional therapy is also needed and ask that you bring a therapist into your care team to provide the best outcome.
She believes in helping each patient gain independence with lifestyle modifications and therapy tools. The conditions she treats include depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, panic disorder, OCD, and ADHD. She is particularly interested in the young adult population, and women's mental health, including perinatal mental health.
