Dr. Emily Doyle is a board-certified psychiatrist, a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology, with over 18 years of experience. Dr. Doyle provides psychiatric care to adults using a patient-centered approach that respects a person’s unique identities, experiences, preferences, and goals. She considers a broad range of treatment approaches, including medications, psychotherapy, and lifestyle interventions that can bring meaningful relief. She received her medical degree from University of Texas in San Antonio, TX and completed her residency at Los Angeles County + University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA. After residency, she completed a fellowship in forensic psychiatry at USC Keck Institute of Psychiatry and Law. She returned to Texas where she has worked in medical education and college mental health. Dr. Doyle has extensive experience working with people suffering with anxiety, OCD, depression, mood problems, disordered eating, ADHD, substance use, and trauma. She incorporates therapeutic techniques into medication management appointments, but occasionally may recommend that a therapist be added to the care team for best results.
