Dr. Estefany Garces is a Board Certified in Psychiatry and Board Eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She completed her residency training at Nassau University Medical Center. After completing her training in general psychiatry, she continued her education by completing a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at SUNY Downstate. Dr. Garces is passionate about working with diverse patient populations and has worked in multiple settings over her career, including inpatient child and adolescent psychiatry units, adult and child outpatient services, community mental health services.

Dr. Garces is bilingual, speaking both Spanish and English to deliver quality care for patients and their parents. She is sensitive to cultural differences and her previous experiences have pushed her to become an advocate for her patients. Dr. Garces’ primary focus is children, adolescents, and young-early adults (0-40 years old) who struggle with Depression, Anxiety, Mood Disorders, trauma related disorders and other psychiatric conditions.
