Dr. Gina Oliveto has worked as a child and adolescent psychiatrist for over twenty years. She graduated from Creighton Medical School in her hometown of Omaha, Nebraska. She completed residency at Maine Medical Center and returned to Creighton University for her fellowship. She has been the medical director of a partial care program treating adolescents with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders, has worked in residential programs as well as inpatient services.
For the past thirteen years she has enjoyed working primarily as an outpatient psychiatrist. Once the pandemic started, she switched to telepsychiatry and is quite comfortable in this practice setting. She has been married for thirty years and has three grown sons and a new granddaughter. She is the daughter of a psychiatrist who is still practicing at age 81. She is excited for this new adventure at Talkiatry.
