Dr. Cohen is a board-eligible psychiatrist with experience serving diverse populations. She has provided collaborative, patient-centered care in various settings, including non-profit community mental health, inpatient units, geriatric clinics, and the emergency room in Tennessee and South Carolina. Based in Florida, Dr. Cohen earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Florida, her law degree from Stetson University College of Law, and her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine. She completed her psychiatry residency training at Meharry Medical College.

Dr. Cohen's practice focuses on medication management, which she offers with supportive or emotionally focused therapy in 30-minute follow-up visits. In order to provide the best outcome, she may find it necessary to recommend additional therapy and ask that you bring a therapist into your care team. Dr. Cohen is a lifelong learner whose focus is learning as much as possible to be able to provide the best care for a wide variety of patients, regardless of religion, socioeconomic status, race, age or sexuality.
