Dr. Jennifer Pate is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She received her undergraduate degree at the University of St Thomas and attended medical school at UTMB in Galveston. She completed her residency at Baylor College of Medicine. She is very well connected to teams in the Texas Medical Center and collaborates with them daily.
A second area of interest is disaster psychiatry. This interest came from her experience with the children released from the Branch Davidian Compound during the standoff with David Koresh. She later helped to lead the mental health response at the Astrodome as Katrina evacuees fled Louisiana. She has served on numerous rideout and recovery teams in a leadership role. Helping patients navigate the ongoing issues with the SARS-CoV2 pandemic is a major part of her treatment plan with immunocompromised patients.
She is happy to help you navigate your complex medical journey and is proud to join your team.
