Jessica Vernold, LMHC is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who is dedicated to helping those who struggle with various mental health concerns and strives to assist them in focusing on personal strengths and positive aspect of their lives, as well as, making small changes to achieve their individual goals. Jessica's practice focuses on adjustment to life changes, adolescent issues, and women’s issues. She typically offers cognitive behavioral and trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy or solution focused therapy in 30-to-45-minute visits

Jessica received her Master of Science in Psychology with a focus in clinical psychology from Keiser University. She also received her Bachelor of Science in Education from University of South Florida. Jessica has trained in performing psychological assessments and diagnosis, cognitive-behavioral therapies, trauma focused and solution focused therapeutic approaches. She has also provided psychoeducation to couples in a couple’s workshop program developed and provided by the University of Florida

As a mental health counselor, she believes that addressing mental health concerns is the only way to experience complete wellness. Jessica is a member of the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence and has served on the review board for the annual conference. She is passionate about serving survivors of domestic violence and their children. She has vast experience and has specialized in adolescent and women’s health including anxiety and depression, adjustment to major life changes, behavioral concerns, and other areas of maternal health. She also treats, PTSD, anger, and oppositional defiant disorder.
