Dr. Martin is a board-eligible psychiatrist who strongly focuses on building rapport and establishing trust with his patients to provide compassionate psychiatric care. He completed his training as chief resident at New York Medical College at Metropolitan Hospital in Manhattan. He combines medication management with elements of cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT), supportive therapy, and mindfulness to help his patients reach their goals. He believes in examining the intersection of biological, psychological, and social issues that lead to psychiatric symptoms and creating a personalized treatment plan thereafter.
Dr. Martin has experience in outpatient clinics, inpatient hospitals, emergency rooms, addiction clinics, and tele-health services. His training with diverse populations in NYC has led him to appreciate the vast array of issues in mental health. He aims to combine therapy with medication management to provide a team-based approach to patient care.
