Dr. Okochi is a board-eligible adult psychiatrist who is dedicated to providing compassionate care to her patients. She believes in a holistic and collaborative approach to treatment. Her practice focuses on medication management, which she offers in conjunction with cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, interpersonal therapy, and supportive therapy as needed.
Dr. Okochi received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania and her medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. She completed her psychiatric residency training at Northwell Health's Zucker Hillside Hospital where she had worked with diverse patient populations.
Her primary clinical focus is working with adult patients dealing with depression, anxiety, burnout and relationship struggles. In addition to working at Talkiatry, Dr. Okochi is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine.
