Krizia Gupiteo, DO

Dr. Gupiteo is a double board-certified psychiatrist  in  general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. Dr. Gupiteo's practice focuses on medication management which is typically supplemented with supportive therapy or techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing during 30-minute follow-up sessions. Occasionally, Dr. Gupiteo may recommend bringing a separate therapist into your care team to provide the best outcome.

Dr. Gupiteo completed undergraduate studies at New York University and received her medical degree from New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed psychiatry residency at Westchester Medical Center and fellowship in child & adolescent psychiatry at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. Throughout her training, Dr. Gupiteo earned awards for clinical excellence and teaching. She was a teaching associate during fellowship.

Dr. Gupiteo has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, bipolar disorder, and many other psychiatric conditions.
