Dr. Lauren Derhodge is a board-certified outpatient psychiatrist who has been practicing for over five years. She received her medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences and completed her psychiatry residency at the State University of New York Buffalo program, where she was Chief Resident.
Dr. Derhodge treats adult patients using a non-judgmental, patient-centered, trauma-informed approach with an emphasis on shared decision-making. Her practice focuses on medication management along with supportive therapy and motivational interviewing techniques and typically offers 30-minute follow-up visits. Occasionally Dr. Derhodge may recommend additional therapy and ask that you bring a therapist into your care team to provide the best outcome.
Dr. Derhodge has experience treating various conditions, including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, posttraumatic stress disorder, ADHD, OCD, and substance use disorders. Dr. Derhodge strives to be culturally sensitive and welcomes patients who identify as LGBTQ+.
