Lauren Devins, PMHNP, is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who is dedicated to helping people who struggle with mental health concerns and aims to find a way to help them live a full and balanced life. Lauren’s practice focuses on medication management. She typically offers this in conjunction with supportive or emotionally focused therapy in 30-minute follow-up visits.

Lauren received her Master of Science in Nursing with a psychiatry specialty from Stony Brook University. She also received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Stony Brook University. Lauren has trained in performing psychiatric evaluations and diagnosis, medication management, and psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral therapies.

As a nurse practitioner, she believes that addressing mental health concerns is just as important as addressing physical concerns by providing patients with health and wellness education. Lauren also utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy techniques when providing her patients with light supportive therapy.

Lauren is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and has received awards from North Shore LIJ, Zucker Hillside Hospital, and Post Partum Support International. She has vast experience and has specialized in women’s health, including postpartum, infertility emotional support, and other areas of maternal health. She also treats depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and much more.
