Dr. Limore Maron is a board-certified adult psychiatrist who has been in practice for over 11 years.

At the core of Dr. Maron’s clinical approach is her strong rapport with her patients. She believes in patient -centered care that involves guiding her patients to an overall improved sense of self. The conditions she treats are depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, ADHD and dementia. She also has a personal interest in women’s health, specifically postpartum depression. She has given grand rounds on the topic of women’s mental health. Dr. Maron also appreciates the mind-body connection. She has extensive experience in treating patients with comorbidities, as well as an aging population.

Dr. Maron’s practice focus is medication management. She offers this in conjunction with supportive focused therapy in 30-minute follow-up visits. Occasionally Dr. Maron may believe that additional therapy is also needed and ask that you bring a therapist into your care team to provide the best outcome.
She received her medical degree from Ben Gurion University –Columbia University program in International Health and Medicine where she did rotations in Israel, NYC and India. She went on to complete her residency in Psychiatry at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. She then completed her fellowship in Psychosomatic Medicine at New York University School of Medicine.

After completing her training, Doctor Maron worked as associate professor at University of Miami –Miller School of Medicine, where she worked in the Jackson Memorial Hospital Crisis ED, medical floors, and outpatient settings treating a variety of psychiatric conditions. Dr. Maron then settled in CT where she eventually transitioned to working as the director of the Consult Liaison Service at a lower Fairfield County hospital. She has experience working as a hospital-based psychiatrist in the ED, as well as on the medical, surgical, and OBGYN units. Dr. Maron also has been involved in leadership roles and part of different hospital based committees.

She has held academic appointments at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, Yale School of Medicine, and Vermont School of Medicine. She has spent most of her professional career supervising and teaching medical students, psychiatry residents, and physician assistant students
