Dr. Luke Swider is a psychiatrist who specializes in the treatment of adults.
Dr. Swider approaches patient care in a collaborative manner with the goal of supporting a person's overall well-being. Dr. Swider provides medication management and supportive therapy services in 30 minute follow up visits.
Dr. Swider received his medical degree from the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Following this, he completed his residency in adult psychiatry at Western Psychiatric Hospital of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
During residency, Dr. Swider developed a simultaneously holistic and scientific approach by working in an integrative and complementary medicine clinic, all the while applying evidence-based medication management in multiple settings.
Dr. Swider also gained experience researching and treating the effects of Long COVID, and has trained in specialized clinics addressing PTSD, OCD, substance use disorders, and insomnia. Additionally, he has pursued training in psychodynamic psychotherapy and CBT, further balancing his perspective on patient care.
Dr. Swider also assists individuals dealing with ADHD, mood disorders, and anxiety.
