Marcos Modiano, MD

Dr. Marcos Modiano is board-certified in adult psychiatry and addiction medicine. He has been practicing for 10 years.

Dr. Modiano’s practice focuses on medication management, supportive and psychodynamic psychotherapy in 30 to 45- minute follow-up visits. Treatment is focused on helping patients achieve their best selves with an empathetic and supportive approach.

He received his medical degree from the Universidad Anahuac in Mexico City before moving to Chicago, IL where he trained as a general psychiatrist. After completing his residency at Rush University Medical Center, he pursued training and certification in Addiction Medicine through the American Board of Addiction Medicine and later on through the American Board of Preventive Medicine. He became the medical director for the impaired professionals substance use program at AMITA-behavioral health in Chicago and later on transitioned as the medical director at Hazelden Betty Ford in their Chicago location.

In addition to general psychiatry, Dr. Modiano is board-certified in Addiction Medicine. His primary focus has been in treating impaired professionals with substance use disorders.
