Mayowa Olusunmade, MD

Dr. Olusunmade is trained in child and adolescent psychiatry and in adult psychiatry. He is
board certified in adult psychiatry. Dr. Olusunmade had his medical training at the University
of Ibadan College of Medicine. Subsequently, he moved to the US and finished a Masters in
Public Health degree at Harvard School of Public Health.

Dr. Olusunmade completed his psychiatry residency training at the Rutgers New Jersey
Medical School after which he went on to finish a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at
the Massachusetts General Hospital/McLean Hospital training program.

Dr. Olusunmade has extensive experience treating psychiatric disorders in diverse populations
and has particular clinical interests in depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety and trauma. His
practice focuses on medication management along with supportive therapy and psychoeducation of patients and families.
