Dr. Aje is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, in Adult Psychiatry. She is also board certified in Lifestyle Medicine. She completed her psychiatry residency training at St Elizabeths Hospital, Washington DC. She has practiced in various settings over her career including outpatient, consult liaison and inpatient settings. She has held leadership positions, administrative roles and enjoys teaching.

Dr. Aje served as a Clinical Instructor of Psychiatry at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, while also working as an Attending Psychiatrist for resident doctors at St. Elizabeths Hospital. She served as a Physician Site Lead at her next assignment and served as a Chief Resident during her residency training.

Dr. Aje believes in innovative psychiatry, and she has experience in interventional psychiatry using Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation. She brings with her an extensive wealth of experience using pharmacotherapy along with guidance on therapeutic interventions. The philosophy of Dr. Aje’s practice is to collaborate with patients to meet their specific needs to make an impact in various stages of their lives.
