Dr. Polek is eager to embrace current telemedicine technology to offer mental health services to patients who are looking to connect with their psychiatrist virtually. After completing psychiatry residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, in 2014, he has worked both in private practice and as a staff psychiatrist at a hospital where he offered both inpatient and outpatient services in addition to electroconvulsive therapy.
