Shayna Schaefer is a Clinical Social Worker whose been practicing for over 20 years. She specializes in treating patients who are experiencing a variety of mental health concerns including Depression, Anxiety, Bi-Polar Disorder, and Trauma.
Ms. Schaefer provides psychotherapy to couples, families, and individuals off all ages. Ms. Schaefer meets with her patients weekly to provide emotional and behavioral support. Sessions last from 30 to 45 minutes. Patients are typically seen for approximately 3 to 6 months.
Ms. Schaefer received her Masters of Social Work Degree in 1998 from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. She has worked in Child Welfare, School Social Work, Medical Social Work, Community Mental Health, and has maintained a private practice for the past 10 years.
Ms. Schaefer's primary clinical focus is treating individuals experiencing Depression, Anxiety, Bi-Polar Disorder, and Trauma. Ms. Schaefer utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance Comittment Therapy, and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction in her treatment approaches.
