Why am I receiving messages or final notices that my bill is past due when I've already paid?

If you’ve already paid your bill, it can be a little confusing to receive messages that your balance is past due. Don’t worry, you’ve done nothing wrong. You’re still receiving notices about your bill because of the way our system is automated. (We’re still working to iron out the process, so this doesn’t happen.) When your insurance company pays its portion of the bill, our system automatically notifies you, the patient, that your portion of the bill needs to be paid (even if you’ve already paid it). Rest assured, if we’ve already confirmed receipt of your payment, no action is needed on your part. Once we update your account, you will stop receiving payment requests. We are working hard to make this process smoother for our patients.
