The Director of IT will lead Talkiatry’s information technology operations and enterprise systems, ensuring reliability, security, and a seamless user experience across a fully remote workforce. This leader will oversee the fast growing IT team, manage enterprise tools and applications, and partner across departments to deliver secure, efficient, and scalable IT services that empower clinicians and staff alike.

You will:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute Talkiatry’s IT roadmap aligned with organizational goals, emphasizing operational excellence, automation, and security. 
  • IT Operations & Infrastructure: Oversee enterprise IT systems, endpoint management, identity and access management, and collaboration tools. Ensure reliable and secure operation across all business systems and devices. 
  • SaaS Application Management: Manage Talkiatry’s portfolio of SaaS applications, ensuring seamless integration with Entra ID (Azure AD) for identity and access management. 
  • Oversee provisioning, access controls, and deprovisioning workflows.  
  • Evaluate and onboard new SaaS platforms aligned with business needs.  
  • Maintain visibility into license utilization, configuration, and compliance.  
  • IT Governance & Security: Partner with the Information Security team to maintain compliance with HIPAA, SOC 2, and other regulatory frameworks. Implement and monitor IT controls and secure operational processes. 
  • Vendor & Budget Management: Manage IT vendor relationships, contracts, renewals, and procurement processes. Optimize licensing, spend, and performance across all managed systems. 
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a growing and highly distributed (6+ employee) IT team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and service excellence in a remote-first environment. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Operations, and other departments to ensure technology supports organizational needs and employee success. Partner effectively on initiatives such as onboarding/offboarding, system integrations, and workplace enablement. 
  • Service Management: Leverage ServiceNow to enhance IT service delivery through structured incident, request, and change management processes. Drive efficiency and measurable service improvements. 
  • Enablement: Champion automation and self-service initiatives that improve employee productivity and satisfaction. 
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement modern IT tools and practices that improve performance, reliability, and the overall employee IT experience. 

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)  
  • 10+ years of experience in IT operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role  
  • Proven experience leading IT teams of 10 or more members, ideally across multiple disciplines (service delivery, infrastructure, applications)  
  • Demonstrated experience managing SaaS ecosystems and integrating with identity platforms such as Entra ID (Azure AD) or Okta  
  • Hands-on experience implementing and managing ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms  
  • Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks, information security principles, and compliance standards (HIPAA, SOC 2)  
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to build strong partnerships across departments such as HR, Operations, and Security  
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to balance hands-on execution and long-term planning  
  • Experience supporting a distributed or fully remote workforce  
  • Healthcare or other regulated industry experience preferred

Compensation range for this position is $165,000 to $190,000, depending on experience; actual compensation will be dependent upon the specific role, location, as well as the individual’s qualifications, experience, skills and certifications.
