Alexis Kropf, MD

Dr. Jenna Hartman is double board certified in General Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry. Dr. Hartman graduated from Tufts University before completing medical school at New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. She then completed residency at Maimonides Medical Center, where she was a Chief Resident, and then pursued an addiction psychiatry fellowship at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. Dr. Hartman was also trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy by the Psychoanalytic Association of NY. Following her training, Dr. Hartman returned to Maimonides Medical Center, where she worked as an attending adult outpatient clinic, treating patients from many different backgrounds with a wide array of diagnoses. She holds a special interest in treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and OCD. Dr. Hartman uses a compassionate and thoughtful approach in order to form a collaborative partnership with her patients. She believes in treating the person as a whole and tailoring treatments to each individual's specific needs. Dr. Hartman works with patients in 30 30-minute follow up sessions, where in addition to medication management she provides supportive and at times psychodynamic therapeutic techniques.

Dr. Abdali is a double board-certified psychiatrist in general adult psychiatry and addiction psychiatry. Dr. Abdali has practiced for over 5 years in a variety of settings including outpatient clinics, inpatient hospitals, emergency rooms, and residential treatment centers.

Dr. Abdali has experience treating depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, bipolar disorders, PTSD,  substance use disorders and others. Most recently, Dr. Abdali worked in the VA system, treating veterans utilizing both medication management and psychotherapy.

Dr. Abdali prioritizes shared decision making with his patients in order to facilitate practical treatment plans. During clinical visits, Dr. Abdali combines medication management as well as various therapy modalities including supportive psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing.

Dr. Olivia Plante is a board-eligible psychiatrist with a focus on evidence-based medicine including psychopharmacology and nutritional psychiatry in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of psychiatric disorders.

She is originally from New York, having completed her undergraduate degree in psychology from The City College of New York, followed by a master’s degree in medical anthropology from Binghamton University and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University at Buffalo. She completed psychiatric residency training at the Zucker School of Medicine/Northwell Health, with experience in medication management, psychotherapy, and collaborative multidisciplinary care of adults and adolescents in the outpatient, inpatient, partial hospital and emergency settings.

Initial evaluations will involve collecting history about social circumstances; past medical, psychiatric, substance use, and family conditions; as well as current lifestyle habits such as sleep, nutrition, supplement use, level of physical activity, and stress management skills.

Treatment sessions will explore the mind-body connection and individual lifestyle factors in combination with psychoeducation for a personalized wellness approach.

Farrah has worked almost exclusively in community mental health centers in Iowa and in Arizona for the last 15 years. She has been providing telepsychiatry services since 2013 across several states, serving hospitals, community mental health centers, local jails, and residential treatment facilities. Farrah was lead prescriber for Living Out Loud, a mental health program exclusively for LGBTQ+ persons. She has worked with patients with comorbid mental health & HIV+ status, and a long history of working with persons with severe mental illness.

Farrah has mentored countless new Psychiatric Nurse Graduates in their first year of outpatient practice and precepted students working to achieve their Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Certification. She was also part of the pilot program for the Integrated Behavioral Health Home, which integrated primary care into treatment for SMI patients.

Farrah Lamoreux offers a warm patient centered approach to psychiatry. She is well known for being easy to talk to, and down to earth. Farrah believes that the patient is the most important part of the treatment team, and engaging patients in the decision-making process of their treatment. Patients say that she listens, they feel heard, and that she tailors care to what best fits your needs. She enjoys working with therapists whenever possible to ensure the best outcomes. Farrah specializes in the treatment of ADHD, but also treats Depression, PTSD, Anxiety, Panic, Agoraphobia, OCD, Autism and Bipolar Disorder.

Background and credentials

Dr. Seicarescu is a board-certified adult psychiatrist with over 12 years of experience. She received her medical degree from Carol Davila University of Medicine in Romania and completed her psychiatry residency at Wayne State University in Detroit. Following residency, she gained extensive clinical experience practicing psychiatry in diverse outpatient settings, including a multi-specialty center in North Dakota and community mental health centers in Ohio and Michigan. Dr. Seicarescu has also served as an assistant professor at the University of North Dakota and Michigan State University, where she taught and supervised medical students and residents.</p>

She utilizes supportive therapy along with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), adjusted according to individual patient needs. Dr. Michael Underriner is an adult psychiatrist. His approach to treatment is holistic, taking into account the entire person, and emphasizes the importance of the therapeutic bond to help people reduce suffering and achieve their goals. He is a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Dr. Underriner's practice focuses on a mix of medication management, offered in conjunction with supportive therapy in 30-minute follow-up visits, and insight-oriented psychotherapy offered in weekly 45-minute visits. He works with people struggling with ADHD, depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, and difficulties with self-esteem and relationships. Occasionally Dr. Underriner may believe that additional therapy is warranted and recommend a separate therapist to provide the best outcome. He received his medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and completed his residency training at New York University. During training, he gained experience treating patients with various psychiatric illnesses in several different clinics and hospital-based settings. He worked with experts in the field of depression and provided consultations for patients considering transcranial magnetic stimulation. He also published a review article on long-term injectable medications for psychosis. Dr. Underriner has maintained an interest in teaching and remains connected to the psychiatry department at NYU. He has supervised and taught junior residents and medical students. Additionally, he is interested in global health and disparities in access to care and has traveled to Ghana to teach medical students rotating through psychiatry at the university there.
