Dr. Blanca Osorio-Candelaria is a board-certified adult psychiatrist and has been practicing for over 16 years. Dr. Tobias Murphy is a psychiatrist with Talkiatry who is licensed to provide care in the states of Ohio, West Virginia, and New York. He completed medical school and psychiatry residency at Marshall University's School of Medicine. He has additional training in neuropsychiatry and geriatric psychiatry. During his training, Dr. Murphy was actively involved in teaching medical students and residents. His most frequent lectures included LGBT and transgender mental health. He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the American Association of Gay and Lesbian Psychiatrists, the Gay and Lesbian Medical Association, the World Professional Association for Transgender Health. Maxine Zhou, MD

Dr. Zhou is a board-certified psychiatrist who has more than 4 years of experience practicing in various clinical settings with an emphasis on mental health care in outpatient settings. She practices a holistic approach to developing an individualized plan to work toward a patient's goals. Dr. Zhou is experienced in treating depression, bipolar spectrum disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, generalized anxiety, and other related psychiatric disorders. Dr. Zhou received her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine and completed her adult psychiatry residency training at LSU Health Shreveport. Dr. Zhou's background and experiences have broadened her understanding of cultural stigmas and the relationship it plays in psychiatric care. She incorporates a multitude of treatment modalities such as supportive therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness practices as an adjunct to pharmacotherapy. Celeste Boyd, PMHNP

Ms. Celeste Boyd is a dual board certified Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner.  She is the CEO and Founder of Metamorphosis Psyche, a psychiatric mental health resource platform.  She has practiced in family medicine since 2011 and psychiatric mental health medicine since 2013.  She has clinical experience and expertise in substance use disorders, addiction rehabilitation, sleep medicine, general psychiatry, and serious mental illness (SMI) in both private and public sectors.  In Academia, she has extended her knowledge and experience as Adjunct Clinical Faculty at School of Nursing Graduate Programs.

Since 2017, Ms. Boyd has been practicing general psychiatry in the outpatient private sector.  Ms. Boyd provides medication management and psychotherapy for acute, chronic, and comorbid psychiatric conditions that include Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Mood Disorders, ADHD, OCD, and PTSD.  Her clinical treatment modalities include supportive therapy, solution-focused therapy, motivational enhancement, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy.

As a clinician, she promotes mental health awareness to reduce stigmatization and empower those suffering and struggling with mental illness. Ms. Boyd clinical practices are oriented towards the Mental Health Recovery Model, which permits individuals to go through an active process of change, being in control, strengthening, and empowering themselves to improve their mental health and well-being.

Richard Shehane, MD

Dr. Richard Shehane completed medical school at the University of Nevada School of Medicine and then went on to complete psychiatry residency training at Naval Medical Center San Diego. Dr. Shehane is a board-certified psychiatrist that specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorders and ADHD. Dr. Shehane has also worked extensively with patients that have experienced sexual trauma in their past and patients struggling with substance and alcohol use addictions.

Dr. Shehane will focus on two main approaches to mental health treatment: medication management and psychotherapy. Appointments will focus on a mix of interactions aimed at tailoring each patient’s specific medication needs as well as promoting mental health wellness through different types of evidence-based therapy techniques including mindfulness, CBT, CPT and psychodynamic psychotherapy.

Dr. Shehane works together patients to develop a plan that fits each patient’s individual needs. Initial appointments will focus on identifying and treating primary concerns, and then later appointments will center on building upon the therapeutic relationship to increase self-awareness, promote emotional insight, and secure lasting positive mental health changes.

Farrah Lamoreux, PMHNP

Farrah has worked almost exclusively in community mental health centers in Iowa and in Arizona for the last 15 years. She has been providing telepsychiatry services since 2013 across several states, serving hospitals, community mental health centers, local jails, and residential treatment facilities. Farrah was lead prescriber for Living Out Loud, a mental health program exclusively for LGBTQ+ persons. She has worked with patients with comorbid mental health & HIV+ status, and a long history of working with persons with severe mental illness.

Farrah has mentored countless new Psychiatric Nurse Graduates in their first year of outpatient practice and precepted students working to achieve their Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Certification. She was also part of the pilot program for the Integrated Behavioral Health Home, which integrated primary care into treatment for SMI patients.

Farrah Lamoreux offers a warm patient centered approach to psychiatry. She is well known for being easy to talk to, and down to earth. Farrah believes that the patient is the most important part of the treatment team, and engaging patients in the decision-making process of their treatment. Miranda Morgan, DO

Dr. Miranda Morgan is a board-certified psychiatrist licensed in New York and Texas. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and a member of the American Psychiatric Association. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from The University of Texas at San Antonio and her medical degree from the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency in psychiatry at Texas A&M University - Temple/Baylor Scott & White Hospital, where she was Recruitment Chief Resident.

Dr. Morgan is passionate about collaborative care and telemedicine, and has held positions in primary care mental health and collaborative care settings. She previously worked as staff psychiatrist at the Department of Veterans Affairs, and held an academic appointment as Clinical Instructor for the Department of Psychiatry at New York University Grossman School of Medicine.
