Elijah Jackson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with years of experience working in the mental health and social work field. Elijah has worked with a variety of populations of varied backgrounds and identities. Elijah received a Bachelor of Social Work degree at CUNY Hunter College in New York, NY, and obtained a Master of Social Work degree at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.

Elijah has been practicing as a Therapist for 3 years focusing primarily on identity-related challenges including; Gender/Sexuality exploration, Race/Ethnic identity concerns, Religious/Cultural trauma, and Sex/Intimacy issues. Elijah also has experience helping clients navigate issues related to depression, anxiety, and ADHD/Neurodivergent disorders. Clients who work with Elijah will benefit from compassion focused treatment that is rooted in Elijah’s Trauma-informed, Anti-Racist background.

Elijah uses many different therapeutic frameworks and theorems in sessions including; Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Mindfulness practice, Transtheoretical work, Sex positivity, and Queer theory. Elijah has worked with clients from all walks of life but finds that he has a particular interest in working with BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ clients. Elijah understands how important it is to be gentle, warm, and caring in session as well as to seek new resources to help meet each client's unique needs. Elijah is not a brick wall and believes true growth and healing come from collaboration and vulnerability
