Heath Foreman, DO

Dr. Lisa Oliveri is a double board-certified psychiatrist in Psychiatry and Forensic Psychiatry. She completed her undergraduate training at the University of Florida, followed by medical school at the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University. She completed both her residency in Psychiatry and fellowship in Forensic Psychiatry at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. Since graduating from fellowship, Dr. Oliveri has held an academic appointment at the University of Miami, teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and serving as the Miami Veterans Healthcare System Site Director for the University of Miami Psychiatry residency and fellowship programs. Additionally, she has served as the Medical Director of the inpatient psychiatry unit and subsequently as the Assistant Chief of Psychiatry for the Miami VA Healthcare System. Dr. Oliveri has a strong interest in treating a broad range of psychiatric disorders, including depression, anxiety, posttraumatic stress disorder, and substance use disorders. She has extensive experience in treating adults with severe psychiatric illnesses in the inpatient setting. Dr. Darius Robinson is a board-certified psychiatrist who is passionate about providing patient-centered, evidence-based mental health care. He specializes in diagnosing and treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Dr. Robinson combines evidence-based medication management with supportive psychotherapy to help his patients thrive. Dr. Robinson earned his undergraduate degree from Southern University at New Orleans. He later completed a Master's of Medical Science degree at Mississippi College in Clinton, MS. He went on to obtain his medical degree from Louisiana State University in Shreveport and completed his psychiatry residency at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. Dr. Robinson is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is licensed to practice medicine in Louisiana, Michigan, Tennessee, and Kansas. Dr. Robinson believes in fostering a collaborative approach to care, partnering with his patients to create tailored treatment plans that honor their unique needs and goals. Dr. Tahira Akbar specializes in adult psychiatry, she completed her four years of residency training at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center in Paramus NJ and additional two years of geriatric psychiatry fellowship from SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. During her final year of the of residency training, she was appointed as the chief of research. She utilized her extensive research experience to guide and mentor her fellow residents. Under her supervision the program submitted maximum number of research papers and presented medical posters to various psychiatric platforms including American Psychiatric Association.

Dr. Akbar was introduced to tele-psychiatry during the second year of her fellowship due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She appreciated that tele-psychiatry allowed her to continue to serve her patients in the comfort of their own homes. During the challenging times of social distancing, she recognized the importance of collaborative care involving family members, social workers, medical team, and therapist to work together in the best interest of her patients while protecting their privacy and individuality.

Dr. Akbar has excellent communication skills, she believes that an open communication is essential for any relationship to prosper especially that of doctor-patient relationship. She provides a comforting environment for her patients to be able to express their needs and encourages feedback while preparing their individual treatment plan. She is experienced in providing psychiatric care to all age groups while her clinical interest focuses on taking care of adults and geriatric population. Dr. Akbar emphases on medication management utilizing a multidisciplinary methodology when treating each patient based on their requirements and tailoring treatment appropriately.

Dr. Alexander Van-Den-Ende is a board-certified adult psychiatrist who recently completed his psychiatry residency training at Authority Health in Detroit, Michigan. Beyond his proficiency in medication management, Dr. Van-Den-Ende has training in talk therapy and novel treatments like Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation. He is pleased with the increase in access to mental healthcare that comes through telemedicine, and is committed to providing high quality care to his patients. Dr. Van-Den-Ende's approach emphasizes patient insight and mindfulness, guiding individuals on a journey towards self-awareness and mental well-being.

Dr. Peter Hsieh has experience practicing in both outpatient and inpatient psychiatric settings. He earned his medical degree from the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and completed his psychiatry residency at Zucker SOM at Mather Hospital.

Dr. Hsieh values patient education and shared decision-making. He fosters a nonjudgmental environment where patients feel heard and supported, working collaboratively to develop a treatment plan that fits their goals and needs.

Dr. Hsieh begins with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and partners with each patient to create an individualized treatment plan that aligns with their values and evidence-based care. His approach often combines medication management with psychotherapeutic modalities.

Dr. Bakhtier is certified in Adult Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology. Dr. Bakhtier has been practicing for over 15 years and has been working in the field of Telemedicine for over 10 years. Dr. Bakhtier has been working to make easy access to mental health treatment for everyone and believes that Telemedicine is a great option for more access to mental health treatment.  After completing residency training and a master’s in public health, Dr. Bakhtier started practicing as a staff Psychiatrist and later promoted to the medical director position. He had the privilege of working as the Chief Resident during his residency training and worked with a diverse population, treating many people with different types of mental illness at Lincoln medical and mental Health Center in affiliation with Downtown Bronx Medical Associates P.C. and Joan and Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University.

Although he is focused on medication management, he is also very interested in therapies like Motivational interview, Supportive therapy to include in the treatment plan. He is very grounded in humanistic values. He likes to work very closely with his patients to build a treatment plan, and he believes in listening to patients and believing that the best outcomes are possible only by working together with patients. He will make decisions after consultation with you and with your approval first regarding adding or changing medication.

Dr. Bakhtier will spend at least 60 minutes on the initial visit and then 30mintues for follow-up appointments where he will develop a treatment plan with you and will be very open to listening to your preferences regarding medication management.
