Jessica Mars, LCSW

Jessica Mars is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has worked in clinical practice for over 10 years. Jessica received her undergraduate degree in Social Work at Colorado State University-Pueblo and her master's degree in social work from Newman University. Along with her clinical work, Jessica teaches undergraduate and graduate students of Social Work at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, because she values being able to work in her local communities to educate and teach. She identifies as a lifelong learner and incorporates that into her treatment approaches. ‍Jessica has primarily focused her clinical practices working with individuals who have experienced intimate partner violence, sexual assault, trauma from medical or physical health problems, substance use, and other forms of trauma. Her approach is culturally aware, trauma informed, and client centered, and she will work closely with her clients to ensure that the treatment approach and plan is thoughtful and matches what the client may need. ‍Jessica has extended training in EMDR, TF-CBT, CBT, DBT, narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, developmental trauma, suicidality, and trauma informed care. Jessica will encourage you to increase your awareness of thoughts, feelings and behaviors in the present and to increase your personal sense of freedom and well-being. Jessica hopes to work with you to empower you and help you recognize your own strengths, with compassion for both yourself and for others.

Myleka attended Baruch College in New York City, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree, along with receiving her Master of Arts degree in Psychology from Brandman University in Monterey, California. While working towards her goal to become a licensed Therapist, Myleka completed 3000 supervised clinical hours. Myleka has been a part of the Mental Health field since 2016. Myleka has experience working with clients of all ages, backgrounds, and mental and physical health concerns. Myleka has worked in school settings (elementary, high school, and college) and in a primary care physician's office as an on-site mental health therapist. Myleka's main goal is to build rapport and to provide a safe and nonjudgmental space for all to feel comfortable when expressing how they feel, no matter what the topic of discussion may be. Myleka has provided individual and group therapeutic services, depending on what is most suitable for that specific person. Myleka enjoys using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) when explaining the importance of how our thoughts have an impact on our emotions and our behaviors/actions. Jonathan Edwards is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Prevention Specialist. He has previously served as the Program Director for Hub City Outreach Center and was a Crisis Counselor for Garza County Juvenile Center. He has a passion for helping individuals to take the necessary steps forward in their personal development. In session, Jonathan likes to create a judgement-free zone in order to create a safe environment in which clients can share their concerns. The approach that he uses encompasses using the skills that an individual naturally has to develop goals and solutions for their personal growth. Jonathan's approach comes from having years of experience providing drug prevention education for at-risk youth and their families in Lubbock County. Jonathan has a Master's Degree in Counselor Education from Texas Tech University. He also has a Bachelor of Arts from Lubbock Christian University. After receiving his Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling at Texas Tech University, Jonathan began working on his doctorate at Texas Tech University in Counselor Education. Jonathan also enjoys working with foster youth at the Texas Girls and Boys Ranch. In addition to his career and academic pursuits, Jonathan serves the community of Lubbock, Texas. He is currently the chairman for the HEARD Coalition, which is an organization that provides drug education and resources for youth and families in Lubbock County.

Bernadett Hulsinger, LPC

Bernadette Hulsinger, LPC works with individuals from young adulthood through senior adulthood and has experience across inpatient and outpatient settings. She is a clinical trauma counselor with expertise in crisis intervention, risk assessment, TBI, ASD, and couples and family counseling. Bernadette has provided telehealth services since 2017 and holds Board Certification in Telemental Health (BC-TMH). She also serves as a supervisor for counselors working toward licensure.

Bernadette’s style is warm, conversational, and wellness-focused. While she may challenge clients, it is always done in a non-confrontational and supportive manner. She provides a judgment-free space for all clients, including those in poly relationships. Sessions emphasize collaboration, with clients setting their own goals while receiving guidance and exploration along the way.

The first session focuses on understanding a client’s history, life experiences, and previous counseling. Kevin K. White is a licensed Mental Health Therapist, who has been working in the counseling field for over 20 years. Kevin attended Medaille University in Buffalo, New York for his undergraduate and graduate studies. Chad McDaniel, LPC-MHSP, is an experienced mental health professional with a background in both outpatient and inpatient settings. He has worked extensively with clients navigating mental health and substance use challenges. Chad earned his master’s degree in counseling from Southern Adventist University and completed his clinical internship at Parkridge Valley Psychiatric Hospital, where he developed a strong foundation in evidence-based care and client-centered practice.

Chad values open communication and collaboration in every therapeutic relationship. He works alongside clients to establish clear treatment goals and realistic expectations, ensuring that care is both purposeful and personalized. His approach is grounded in empathy and respect, creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel accepted, heard, and empowered to make meaningful change.

In the initial session, Chad takes time to thoroughly understand each client’s personal history, current concerns, and long-term goals. He then develops an individualized treatment plan that reflects their unique needs and aspirations.
