Dr. Akhtar is a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in compassionate and comprehensive mental health care. Dr. Akhtar completed her medical degree at the American University of Antigua, gaining a profound understanding of the biological, psychological, and social aspects of mental health. Following her residency at Bergen, Newbridge Medical Center, where she was appointed Chief Resident in her fourth year, she worked for several years in both inpatient and outpatient hospital settings. Committed to holistic wellness, Dr. Akhtar believes in empowering individuals to make positive changes in their lives and offers guidance on nutrition, exercise, sleep hygiene, and stress management techniques. Dr. Bartek holds the position of Staff Psychiatrist at Talkiatry. She is board-certified in General Psychiatry, Pediatrics, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She has been caring for children and adolescents as a physician for more than 15 years. Dr. Bartek's approach is holistic, collaborative, supportive, and patient-centered. Dr. Bartek draws on her years as a pediatrician working with families and children in her work as a psychiatrist. Dr. Bartek incorporates therapeutic techniques into medication management visits, but she may also recommend adding a therapist to your care team for the best results. She received her medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, WA, before moving to Memphis to complete her residency in Pediatrics at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center and Le Bonheur Children's Hospital. She completed her undergraduate studies at Haverford College in Pennsylvania. After completing training, she remained in Memphis and worked in the Le Bonheur Children's Hospital Emergency Department as a pediatrician. She then moved to Nashville to work at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt in the Emergency Department Fast Track and After-Hours Clinics. Dr. Bartek transitioned to primary care pediatrics at Pediatric Associates of Davidson County for several years before returning to the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis to complete the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Post-Pediatric Portal Fellowship program. Dr. Bartek's primary clinical focus is treating children and adolescents.

Dr. Sumbal Akhter graduated from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas Psychiatry residency program. She has a wide range of experience, having worked at the VA, consult liaison psychiatry, and multiple inpatient/outpatient settings. She provides supportive psychotherapy and takes an integrative approach to her practice.

Dr Reddy is double board certified in adult as well as child and adolescent psychiatry. She has experience working at various levels of mental health care. Dr. Reddy has most recently served as the medical director for a partial hospitalization/intensive outpatient program (PHP/IOP) for adolescents in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. She completed her general psychiatry residency at the University of Illinois at Peoria and went on to pursue her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern. She is knowledgeable in treating patients of all ages and a wide variety of diagnoses including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, and eating disorders. Dr. Reddy is passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ populations, providing culturally informed care, and taking a person-centered approach to providing comprehensive and individualized treatment to her patients. She is well versed in incorporating psychotherapy in conjunction with medication management. She has experience in incorporating supportive, cognitive behavioral, and dialectical behavioral therapeutic approaches in her care.

Renee is a licensed therapist in the states of Texas and Florida. She earned a Master’s degree in Counseling from Sam Houston State University. Renee brings 15 years of experience in the mental health field supporting adults, adolescents, and children across a diverse range of therapeutic needs in the private practice and school setting.

Dr. Santos is a psychiatrist with more than 4 years of experience practicing in a variety of settings with an emphasis on psychiatric outpatient care. She is experienced in treating several psychiatric disorders including but not limited to: Bipolar and Related Disorders, Depressive Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Trauma and Stressor Related Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders, and Substance Related and Addictive Disorders. Dr. Santos received her medical degree from the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia / Ochsner Clinical School in New Orleans, Louisiana. She completed her residency training at Louisiana State University in Shreveport, Louisiana. Dr. Santos tailors her approach to the individual patient. She focuses on medication management and incorporates several therapeutic techniques including supportive therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance therapy and mindfulness.
