Sophie Weinberg, MD

Ashley is an ANCC board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience in Psychiatry. She has worked in inpatient and outpatient settings, crisis centers, and psychiatric emergency rooms. Ashley is deeply committed to working collaboratively with individuals to enhance their well-being, creating a personalized care plan tailored to each person’s unique needs.

As a prescriber specializing in psychopharmacology, Ashley provides comprehensive medication management while utilizing a shared decision-making model. She will review medical and psychiatric history, discuss treatment goals, and explore different therapeutic options based on individual preferences. Dr. Wasser is a staff psychiatrist at Talkiatry, dedicated to providing compassionate and effective care through telepsychiatry. He completed his undergraduate studies at Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, where he focused on Neuroscience and Pre-Medical studies. Subsequently, he pursued his medical degree at Rocky Vista University in Parker, Colorado before completing his psychiatry residency at HCA Aurora in Aurora, Colorado. Dr. Wasser was the recipient of the Chairman's Crystal Distinction of Excellence Award, rewarding a resident's exemplary performance and endorsing a resident's future success in the field of psychiatry. With a strong foundation in both neuroscience and psychiatry, Dr. Wasser approaches each patient with a deep understanding of the mind-body connection and the complexities of mental health. When Dr. Wasser is not providing professional care, he is an advocate for personal health and wellness. He enjoys spending quality time with his wife and family, staying active through exercise, relaxing at the Jersey Shore, and exploring new travel destinations.

Dr. Wasser's approach to patient care is rooted in empathy, trust, and collaboration. He is dedicated to listening closely to each patient's unique concerns and crafting personalized treatment plans that address both immediate symptoms and long-term mental well-being. His specialties include managing mood disorders, anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder and stress-related conditions, with a particular emphasis on helping individuals navigate life transitions and mental health challenges.

Dr. Wasser believes in a thorough and patient-centered approach. During the first session, he takes the time to understand his patient’s history, current struggles, and goals for treatment. Dr. Wasser offers a combination of psychotherapy, medication management, and wellness strategies to support his patients. Dr. Mann is a double board-certified psychiatrist specializing in the care of adults, with additional expertise in the care of older adults. Her practice focuses on medication management for a wide range of psychiatric conditions. It incorporates various therapeutic modalities in order to optimize symptomatic improvement and enhance quality of life. Dr. Mann received her medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine. She completed her residency training in psychiatry at Maimonides Medical Center, and fellowship training in geriatric psychiatry at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. Mann's approach is rooted in empathy. She believes in the importance of a strong therapeutic relationship in facilitating the healing process. She strives to empower patients on their journey to recovery by partnering with them in their care.

Dr. Kira Posteraro is double board-certified in Adult and Addiction Psychiatry and has over 10 years of clinical experience. She completed her General Adult Psychiatry Residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, followed by a fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York, NY.

Dr. Posteraro’s career has included serving as Director of Psychiatric Services at an addiction treatment center in Pittsburgh, PA, where she provided care across the full continuum of substance use disorder treatment—including residential, acute PHP, IOP, outpatient, and aftercare services. She later held the role of Section Chief Psychiatrist for the Center for Treatment of Addictive Disorders at VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, offering both residential and outpatient services and acting as Medical Director for the SAMHSA-certified Opioid Treatment Program. Most recently, she served as Chief of Psychiatry for the Behavioral Health Service Line at VA Pittsburgh, where she had the honor of caring for our nation’s Veterans.

While her clinical expertise centers on the diagnosis and treatment of substance use disorders, Dr. Posteraro also has extensive experience treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including depressive and bipolar spectrum disorders, anxiety disorders, and trauma-related disorders.

Dr. Posteraro uses a collaborative, supportive approach to care, incorporating motivational interviewing to help guide patients on their journey to wellness. She integrates holistic strategies alongside medication management and is dedicated to meeting patients where they are in treatment to build individualized, effective recovery plans.

Dr. Michael A. Murphy is board-certified in General Psychiatry as well as Child and Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He has over 20 years of experience practicing medicine in outpatient, acute, and residential settings. He provides psychiatric assessments and medication management along with brief supportive psychotherapy. He is a strong advocate of collaboration between psychiatric care and psychotherapeutic interventions and encourages the utilization of therapists and counselors. Dr. Murphy holds a bachelor's degree in Chemistry Pre-med from Florida A & M University and a Medical Degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine. He completed both his residency in General Psychiatry and Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Virginia. He formally served as Chief of Behavioral Health Services at Ft. Eustis, Virginia. He has previously provided acute care and residential treatment at Newport News Behavioral Health Center, outpatient services in the community, and the foster care system. He has recently served as medical director of Harbor Point Behavioral Health Center. Dr. Murphy has an extensive history of providing care for both the adult and child population. He specializes in the treatment of children with Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, ADHD, and Pervasive Developmental Disorders.

Dr. Cabrera is a board‐certified psychiatrist with several years of experience working with an ethnically and culturally diverse population in outpatient, inpatient, and psychiatric emergency room settings. Most recently, Dr. Cabrera practiced privately treating adults with a wide range of mental illnesses both in person and via telepsychiatry. Prior to this, she was an attending psychiatrist in the outpatient department and in the Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluation Center at Mount Sinai Beth Israel where she also served as Associate Training Director of Psychiatric Residency Training. Dr. Cabrera has a strong background in psychopharmacology and supportive and psychodynamic psychotherapy.
