Stephanie Negrey, MD

Dr. Stephanie Negrey is a board certified psychiatrist. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biology and History at Fordham University in the Bronx and then attended medical school at the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University. She completed her residency at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio as a member of the United States Air Force. Dr. Negrey served as an active duty psychiatrist; her duties included medical director of the mental health clinic at a special operations base as well as a program manager for the Air Force substance use program.

Dr. Negrey has experience treating a wide range of ages and diagnoses, with particular emphasis on personality disorders, depression, anxiety, and post traumatic stress disorder. She integrates supportive and psychodynamic therapies into her medication management appointments with a goal of achieving improvement through a holistic approach. Dr. Negrey will work with patients to reach their goals for their mental health care while also providing a compassionate and collaborative environment.

Glenn is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with nearly 30 years of experience in health care, dedicated to addressing the mental health needs of his community. With a background in both inpatient and outpatient settings, he is committed to helping individuals become the best versions of themselves—no matter where they are in their journey at the time of their first appointment.

Outside of work, Glenn enjoys spending time with his family, biking, and being outdoors.

He takes a patient-centered approach and emphasizes that he, too, is human. Everyone faces challenges at different times and in different ways. Glenn adopts a holistic perspective, recognizing that effective treatment involves understanding how life challenges impact a person as a whole. Lauren Morris, MD

Dr. Lauren Morris is a board-certified psychiatrist and a graduate of the Duke Psychiatry residency program. She is originally from NC - she studied Neuroscience at NCSU, and attended medical school at ECU. Dr. Morris's practice focuses on medication management, and incorporates insight-oriented therapy during visits. Dr. Morris takes a patient-centered evidenced based approach to psychiatry. Dr. Morris is joining the Talkiatry team after working as a staff psychiatrist at the Durham VA, where she also served as a consulting professor for the Duke psychiatry residency program. In her free time, Dr. Morris enjoys hiking and traveling.

Joshua Kane, MD

Dr. Joshua Kane is a board certified psychiatrist who completed his undergraduate studies at Yale University, medical school at SUNY Downstate and Psychiatry Residency at Brown. Dr. Kane also completed a five-year training program in psychoanalysis and psychodynamic therapy at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute. Dr. Kane has worked in a variety of treatment settings, including partial hospitals, outpatient community mental health clinics, and private practices. Dr. Kane also worked at Brown University Counseling and Psychological services providing medication management and supervision to therapists. Dr. Kane's extensive therapy training sets him apart as a psychiatrist, and his treatment approach reflects this knowledge. While medications play an important role in treatment, Dr. Kane believes that lasting change involves a patient working with a therapist to better understand themselves. Dr. Kane enjoys working with adults who face challenges with depression, anxiety and PTSD.

Bryan Larson, PMHNP

Bryan Larson is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Washington State University (2019). He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Walla Walla University in 2003 and worked for over a decade as an emergency department nurse. Since 2019, he has provided outpatient psychiatric care for diverse patients, offering medication management and support for a variety of mental health diagnoses.

Bryan works with patients from all backgrounds with a focus on treating each individual uniquely. He emphasizes meeting patients “where they’re at” and collaborates in a supportive environment to achieve personalized treatment goals, ensuring every patient feels understood and valued.

During the initial appointment, Bryan reviews a patient’s psychiatric history and current concerns to develop a tailored treatment plan, which may include medication and/or therapy services. Maxine Minto, MD

Dr. Maxine Minto is a double board-certified psychiatrist. She is board certified in General Adult Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association (APA). Dr. Minto is an associate professor of psychiatry at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. She is an active member of both the APA and American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Minto received her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She completed her general psychiatry residency and child-adolescent fellowship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. She has more than 25+ years of experience working in the psychiatric profession. She has previously worked extensively in the role of medical director in multiple settings. Dr. Minto was honored with the role of medical director of a large community mental health center, child psychiatry inpatient program, adult and child inpatient residential treatment program, and outpatient residential day treatment program. She also has 8 years of experience working with the Deaf community. Dr. Minto specializes in psychopharmacology and supportive therapy. She performs comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, develops patient-centered individualized treatment plans, and schedules regular follow-up appointments.
