Amanda Favretto, LMHC

Amanda Favretto is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who holds certificates as a Nationally Certified Counselor as well as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Working with military service members and faith-based counseling are two of Amanda's passions. Amanda has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings with individuals struggling with concerns such as low-self esteem, adjustment, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and relationship and communication issues, utilizing such treatment modalities as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), EMDR, as well as others. Amanda believes in the importance of meeting each individual where they are at, focusing on all aspects of a person: heart, mind, body, and spirit. It has been Amanda's experience that focusing on each layer leads to long-lasting, deeper healing and growth. Believing that each person has it in them to heal and grow, Amanda considers it a unique privilege to assist people on that journey. At each individual's pace, striving to promote a comfortable environment, Amanda will gently encourage deeper self-reflection, mindfulness, challenging oneself, and skill-building. Amber Boyd, LPC

Amber Boyd, LPC, has experience working in inpatient, outpatient, and virtual therapy settings. She has provided care for individuals with depression, anxiety, PTSD, adjustment disorder, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and bipolar disorder. Amber offers individual, group, family, and couples counseling, and is skilled in developing treatment plans, clinical documentation, and administering screenings such as the PHQ-9, GAD-7, and C-SSRS. She earned her B.S. in Psychology from Jackson State University and her M.S. in Counseling from Mississippi College. Amber completed her supervision hours at Mississippi State Hospital and obtained her LPC in Mississippi in 2019 and in Oklahoma later that same year.

Michelle Vasquez, LPC

Michelle E. Vásquez has been a Licensed Professional Counselor for over 27 years. She has been specializing in grief work since 2012. Many of her clients are living with the loss of loved ones or experiencing other types of non-death loss, such as divorce, job loss, and other significant life changes. Her primary goal is to truly listen to your experience and help you work through it, creating a plan of action together. It is your therapy, and your active involvement is crucial. When dealing with grief, you may still be in pain and need to talk about it long after others want you to stop talking. This is when therapy can be helpful. Your grief journey is at your pace. Michelle uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy, along with other approaches that help you address loss and trauma in unique ways to begin to write your healing story. She has also worked with domestic violence survivors and child abuse survivors. Michelle works with clients both in English and Spanish and has experience with immigrant populations from many countries. Michelle graduated from Our Lady of the Lake University in 1993. She is currently studying Internal Family Systems Therapy to help her provide you with new ways to address the challenges that bring you to therapy.

Kathleen Francois, LCSW

Kathleen Francois, LCSW, brings a rich background in outpatient, community mental health, crisis intervention, and behavioral health settings. She holds a degree in psychology and a master’s degree in clinical social work and addiction, allowing her to support individuals through a wide range of challenges with expertise and compassion.

Katherine Strasburger, LCSW

Katherine Strasburger, LCSW, grew up in Colorado and moved to Waco in 2013 to attend Baylor University, where she later earned her MSW. She has extensive experience supporting children and adolescents ages 4–19, as well as their caregivers, across juvenile detention, PK–12 schools, and homeless outreach. She is completing full EMDR training and holds ADHD certification. Kat enjoys integrating nutrition-focused psychoeducation and creative expression through play and art-based strategies. She is also training her dog, Odin, for Therapy Dog certification.

Kat recognizes the stigma surrounding mental health and views seeking therapy as an act of resilience. She creates a safe, comfortable, and nonjudgmental space where clients can be themselves. She values autonomy, supports increased self-awareness, and genuinely celebrates each client’s progress and healing.

Kat begins by building rapport and gaining a thorough understanding of each client’s history, concerns, and goals. She collaborates with clients to create individualized treatment plans that reflect their needs and priorities. Nicole Groves, LPC

Nicole Groves, LPC, LMHC, earned a Bachelor of Science in English and Psychology from Grand Valley State University and a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University. She spent five years as a K–12 English and Special Education teacher before transitioning to community mental health, serving children and adolescents across three East Texas counties. She later moved into private practice and now practices at Talkiatry. Nicole is trained in EMDR, somatic therapy, TF-CBT, and DBT, and is also a registered yoga teacher.

Nicole brings a direct, nonjudgmental, and holistic approach to therapy. She is caring and compassionate, creating a safe, affirming space where clients can explore their needs without fear or shame. She encourages each person to show up authentically, supporting them as they navigate complex emotions, relationships, and life transitions.

Nicole believes nothing in therapy is one size fits all. She partners with clients to identify strengths, address challenges, and build practical skills. Hunada Zein Eddin, LPC

Hunada Zein-Eddin is a bilingual (English/Arabic) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas and Virginia. She earned her degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lancaster Bible College in 2022 and completed her residency at Northern Virginia Family Service and Youth For Tomorrow. She specializes in supporting adolescents, young adults, and adults with challenges related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, adjustment issues, and mood disorders. Hunada also helps clients navigate stress, grief, workplace relationships, anger, and life transitions. She has experience working with individuals, families, and couples and is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) as well as ADHD Clinical Services. Her trauma-informed, culturally sensitive approach draws on Attachment Theory, TF-CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Polyvagal Theory.
