Biography
I am trained in cognitive behavioral therapy and help my clients recognize and change harmful and unhelpful patterns of thought and behavior, implement coping skills, and set goals for the future, leading to a happier and healthier existence. I use techniques from CBT, solution focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and more to tailor each client's sessions to their individual needs. I specialize in working with individuals from a variety of different backgrounds and mental health issues, such as anxiety, ADHD, stress, depression, trauma, school avoidance, and grief/loss. I also have extensive experience working with members of the LGBTQ+ community.
I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of New York. I attended SUNY Oneonta for my Bachelor's degree in psychology, and went on to Adelphi University where I received my Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling. I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of different struggles.
