Joshua Weasen, MD

Dr. Weasen is a board-eligible adult psychiatrist with Talkiatry. He received his medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He then moved to Washington, D.C. to complete his residency training at Saint Elizabeths Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident during his final year. He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association (APA) and has presented at the APA Annual Meeting on the topic of virtual fatigue. He has had extensive experience working with a wide array of patients, including college/graduate students, geriatric patients, military veterans, and LGBTQ+ populations.

Dr. Weasen provides a combination of medication management and supportive psychotherapy. Occasionally, he may work with you on finding additional support as well, including bringing on a dedicated therapist as part of your treatment team. He believes in tailoring treatment to each person’s needs. He primarily treats mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, PTSD, OCD, and insomnia, but believes in seeing beyond the diagnosis and focusing on the individual first and foremost.

For the last 5 years, she has been an assistant clinical professor at the Adolescent Health Center at Mt Sinai Hospital NY. During this period she was also a consulting psychiatrist at the McShane Center for Psychological Services at Pace University. Dr. Wellin trained at the Psychoanalytic Institute at NYU. She was certified in hypnosis by NYSEPH in NYC and she has also received training in EMDR. Dr. Wellin worked at a NYC rehab for substance abusers and was the medical director of a private program for children of substance abusers and their families. Seth Sultan, LCSW

Seth Sultan, LCSW, earned his Master of Social Work degree from California State University, Northridge. He is a practitioner of Somatic Experiencing; a psychobiological treatment focused on resolving trauma and stress. Seth also has specialized training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for the treatment of OCD. He integrates these modalities with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Attachment Theory to provide a holistic and individualized therapeutic experience.

Seth believes therapy is a space where individuals should feel heard, seen, and understood. He offers a supportive and nonjudgmental environment that encourages self-discovery and personal growth. Raafay Deen, DO

Dr. Raafay Deen is a board eligible adult psychiatrist. At the heart of Dr. Deen's clinical approach is a strong emphasis on establishing trust and building a therapeutic relationship to help patients achieve their goals. Dr. Deen's practice focuses on medication management. Typically, he offers this in conjunction with supportive or emotionally focused therapy in 30-minute follow-up visits. Occasionally, Dr. Deen may believe that additional therapy is also needed and ask that you bring a therapist into your care team to provide the best outcome .Dr. Deen received his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and went on to complete his residency in psychiatry at Westchester Medical Center. Taylor Jarrett, LMHC, NCC, is a psychotherapist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is licensed to practice in New York, Massachusetts, and Florida, and is recognized as a National Certified Counselor.

Kyla Burkey, LCSW

Kyla Burkey, LICSW, began her career in Outreach, supporting the Adult Mental Health population with substance use, housing, and medication management. She earned her MSW from Westfield State University and has served as a Case Manager, Assistant Program Manager, and Outpatient Clinician. Kyla has facilitated support groups for individuals 55+ and Adult Children of Alcoholics, with extensive expertise in Trauma-Focused Therapy and Crisis Management.

Kyla values a positive, respectful working relationship that fosters trust and consistency in personal growth. She uses a Person-Centered approach, meeting each individual where they are and tailoring therapy to their unique qualities. He completed his psychiatry residency at Tufts Medical Center in Boston and a fellowship in forensic psychiatry at the University of Colorado. Board certified in Psychiatry and Neurology, Dr. Heneghan draws on experience with psychodynamic psychotherapy, CBT, and ACT to provide well-rounded, evidence-based care.
