Harmeeta Singh, MD

Dr. Harmeeta Singh was born and raised in St. Louis, MO and is board certified with ABPN (American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology). Dr. Singh has been in practice for 15 years and focuses on an individualized treatment plan, not only using pharmacotherapy when needed, but also implementing insight-oriented, supportive, motivational, and brief psychotherapy. Dr. Singh is a firm believer in combining psychotherapy with medication management when warranted to manage and treat a wide variety of mental health conditions including, but not limited to - Depressive Disorders, Bipolar Disorders, Psychotic Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Trauma related disorders, Substance use disorders, Personality disorders, Sleep Disorders and Eating Disorders. Her dynamic approach is client focused, involving the client throughout their treatment and care plan, taking careful consideration to the individual's needs and goals. ‍Upon completion of her residency through St. Louis University, St.Louis, Dr. Singh joined her parents' Internal Medicine practice. She learned firsthand that implementing mental health awareness, screening, and education into a primary medically focused practice led to more favorable outcomes. Many mental health conditions can manifest as and/or exacerbate a variety of medical/physical conditions and thereby go undiagnosed and untreated. Samuel Russell, MD

Dr. Samuel Russell is a psychiatrist at Talkiatry. He is board certified in Addiction Psychiatry and Adult Psychiatry. His particular clinical focus is on the treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and behavior addictions, as well as trauma, mood, and anxiety disorders. Dr. Russell's practice focuses on evidence-based treatments for psychiatric illness that utilizes a combination of medications and psychotherapy modalities best suited for an individual patient and their needs. He offers this in conjunction with supportive or emotionally focused therapy in 30-minute follow-up visits. Weekly hour-long psychotherapy may be available if indicated. Jennifer Phillips, LCSW

Jennifer Phillips is a Licensed Clinical Social worker who has worked in the mental health field since 2013.  During graduate school, Jennifer completed her internships at the Tuscaloosa County jail, the University of Alabama Student Veterans Center, and the Birmingham Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center in their Health Care for Homeless Veterans program.  Jennifer went to undergraduate and graduate schools in Alabama and moved to Arizona in 2013 to work with the Department of Veterans Affairs to continue working with homeless veterans.  Jennifer also has experience teaching at Pima Community College and is a clinical supervisor for associate level clinicians through the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.  

Jennifer’s prior working experience and training has been with adults, homeless veterans, Native Americans, LGBTQIA, women, and individuals in rural or remote areas, providing access to much needed mental health services in provider shortage areas.  She enjoys working with patients who have anxiety, depression, insomnia, mood disorders, and self-esteem issues.  She is trained in geriatrics and especially loves working with adults over the age of 65.  

Jennifer is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mind-Body Approach, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Prolonged Grief Disorder (where the patient is experiencing grief for at least 12 months).  As she is trained in several different treatment modalities, Jennifer can customize therapy to meet everyone’s needs.

Shannon Curry has been providing mental health therapy since 2016. She received her degrees from Plattsburgh State University.
