Paul Hogate, LCSW

Mr. Hogate is a skilled therapist with over 25 years of experience providing psychotherapy in a broad range of clinical settings. He is licensed both as a Clinical Social Worker and a Professional Counselor. Mr. Hogate has provided private counseling services since 2001 and additionally has worked in a vast range of clinical settings including outpatient counseling for individuals and families, inpatient services for children and adults, outpatient treatment for individuals with co-occurring substance use and other behavioral health concerns. Mr. Hogate is driven by a deep belief in the centrality of human relationships and the benefits clients can gain from a deep connection with a skilled clinician.

Mr. Hogate has a balanced and informed perspective on therapy and seeks to draw from patient experience and strength in partnership toward a common goal of reducing stress and symptoms of various life challenges such as depression, anxiety, relationship conflict, life transitions and others. Nicole Parrish, MD

Staff Psychiatrist

Dr. Parrish is a board-certified General Psychiatrist and board-certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. In addition to medication management, Dr. Parrish also provides supportive therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques during appointments. When appropriate, she will refer patients for additional psychotherapy and will work to collaborate with therapists to help patients achieve the best outcomes. She received her medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia/VCU in Richmond, Virginia. She then traveled to Greenville, South Carolina where she completed a General Psychiatry residency at Greenville Health System/PRISMA Health and then returned to Virginia to complete a Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at The Virginia Treatment Center for Children/VCU Health System. Dr. Parrish is a strong advocate of an integrated approach to treating children and their families. She completed undergraduate training at Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia, where she studied psychology and elementary education. Prior to entering medical school, she was a licensed elementary school teacher in Virginia where she served children of various learning styles and needs. She continues to have an interest in learning disabilities, other neurodevelopmental disorders, ADHD, mood disorders, as well as many other areas of psychiatry.‍

Bethanne Folks, LPC

Beth Folks is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and a Certified Co-Occurring Disorder Diplomate. She has 25 years of experience helping clients recognize their inner strength. Her style of therapy utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. Beth tailors each treatment plan to fit the client's individual needs and encourages them to take an active role in every step of the journey. She strives to create a safe environment where the client feels they can speak openly. Beth most recently worked in a private practice for a psychiatrist as a psychotherapist via tele-health serving adults diagnosed with mental health issues. She has also worked in a residential setting where she supervised the care of clients with mental health and addiction issues. Bath worked closely with Psychiatrists and is familiar with most types of medications used currently. Beth obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in psychology from Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA. She then earned a Master of Science Degree at Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, PA. In addition, she obtained a post-master's certification in forensic treatment at Chestnut Hill College.

Zaccaheaus Adams, LMHC

Zaccaheaus (Zacc) Adams is a licensed clinical counselor in both Maryland and North Carolina. Zacc graduated from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke with his master's in clinical mental health counseling. He has been effective in providing therapy for many presenting concerns such as depression, anxiety, self-esteem/confidence, trauma, career conflicts, and relationship issues. Zacc has extensive experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, friends, and families. He aims to create a warm and inviting environment that will allow clients to further develop growth and empowerment within themselves. Zacc uses an integrative therapeutic approach to meet each client where they are in each session.

Paul Fairbanks, LCPC

Paul Fairbanks is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with 11 years of experience supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds. He has worked in both outpatient and inpatient settings and holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Argosy University. He maintains independent licenses in Illinois and Arizona and is dedicated to fostering growth and well-being in his patients.

Paul uses a client-centered approach grounded in acceptance, understanding, and empathetic connection. He believes positive change is possible with the right environment and mutual commitment. He partners closely with patients, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other evidence-based methods to achieve the best outcomes.

Seth Mandel, MD

Dr. Mandel received his Bachelor of Arts and Doctor of Medicine degrees from the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his Residency in Psychiatry at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan. He has been board certified in psychiatry since 2001 and is a Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. He has held numerous clinical and academic appointments including serving as Chairperson of Psychiatry at Huntington Hospital in Huntington, New York, and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine.

Dr. Mandel has over 25 years of clinical experience treating all mental health conditions. He has a strong interest in mood and anxiety disorders, including work-related anxiety. He authored a section on the pharmacology of social anxiety in the book Work Makes Me Nervous. Dr. Mandel also has expertise working with clients diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. He has lectured on the pharmacologic management of this condition, including a presentation at the NIMH International Think Tank for the More Effective Treatment of Borderline Personality Disorder.

Dr. Mandel continually seeks to streamline complex medication regimens. He has completed a fellowship in integrative psychiatry and carefully considers the potential contributions of lifestyle and nutrition to overall mental health and well-being. By taking an eclectic approach, Dr. Mandel is able to achieve the best possible outcome for all whom he is privileged to serve.
