Deborah Gross, MD, earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and completed her psychiatric residency at the University of Washington. She is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and has extensive experience treating mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, addiction, disordered eating, and personality disorders in both outpatient and inpatient settings. She is also ASAM-certified in addiction medicine and holds a lifetime certificate from the American Board of Addiction Medicine. Dr. Gross is the author of a three-book series supporting women with disordered eating.

I am board certified in adult psychiatry and earned my medical degree from Louisiana State University in New Orleans, where I also completed my four-year residency in psychiatry. I have over 13 years of experience with an array of mental health diagnoses including depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and sleep disorders.

Dr. Stephanie Negrey is a board certified psychiatrist. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biology and History at Fordham University in the Bronx and then attended medical school at the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University. She completed her residency at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio as a member of the United States Air Force. Dr. Negrey served as an active duty psychiatrist; her duties included medical director of the mental health clinic at a special operations base as well as a program manager for the Air Force substance use program.

Dr. Negrey has experience treating a wide range of ages and diagnoses, with particular emphasis on personality disorders, depression, anxiety, and post traumatic stress disorder. She integrates supportive and psychodynamic therapies into her medication management appointments with a goal of achieving improvement through a holistic approach. Dr. Negrey will work with patients to reach their goals for their mental health care while also providing a compassionate and collaborative environment.

My specialties include affective and anxiety disorders, and I have specific expertise in neuropsychiatry, psychopharmacology, and alternative treatments for affective disorders. I practice psychotherapy from an Eriksonian perspective and am well versed in individual and psychodynamic psychotherapies.

I most recently served as medical director for clinical services at Erlanger Behavioral Health Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. After several years of private practice, I served as Chief of Inpatient Psychiatric Services and then as Chief of Psychiatry at Mountain Home VA Medical Center. During my time at Mountain Home VA, I was also a Professor of Psychiatry at Quillen Medical School at East Tennessee State University, where I taught General Psychiatry courses and the Neurosciences of Psychiatry. I have an extensive psychiatric background in practice and as a teacher.

I am a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and a Past President of both the Tennessee Psychiatric Association and the Southern Psychiatric Association. I have been awarded a Distinguished Service Award from the United States Public Health Service. I have been twice named the Outstanding Teacher Award from the ETSU Psychiatry Residency program and was awarded Course Director of the Year for the Neurosciences residency course I developed. I also hold an Irma J. Bland Award for Excellence in Psychiatric Education from the APA.

My primary focus has been on treating adults with depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, and PTSD. I have an approachable, patient-centered style, combined with a passion for optimizing sleep as it pertains to management of a psychiatric illness and overall well-being. I offer supportive therapy as part of my medication management visits, and at times may also offer cognitive behavioral therapy to address underlying stressors which may be contributing to one's presenting ailments. I completed residency at North Florida Regional in Gainesville via the University of Central Florida, where I also served as chief resident for education. I received my medical degree from Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Tennessee. I also hold a master's and bachelor's degree in engineering from the University of South Florida, in Tampa.

I have worked with a wide array of patients across various medical settings and have experience treating patients with psychiatric illness who may also be suffering from medical comorbidities, such as obesity, hypertension, pain, and diabetes. I have been deeply involved with teaching and emphasize psychoeducation while working in collaboration with my patients to help tailor their personalized treatment plan.

I am a board-eligible adult psychiatrist. I obtained my medical degree at Nova Southeastern University and was elected chief resident by my residency program at the University of Central Florida. I graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University. I have worked in a variety of medical settings with different patient populations, including outpatient, consult liaison, and inpatient psychiatry.

I also served as an Outpatient Senior Resident to help junior residents acclimate to the outpatient treatment setting and telehealth format.

I received my master's degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, TX. I then completed medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine Seton Hill in Greensburg, PA, where I served as president of my medical school's chapter of Sigma Sigma Phi Honorary Service Fraternity and co-founder of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Campus Club.

I earned my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from Rocky Vista University in Colorado and completed my internship and psychiatry residency at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. I have 21 years of experience in treating adults, adolescents, and children. I graduated from Brody School of Medicine in Greenville, North Carolina, then moved to Rochester, NY to complete my residency and fellowship at University of Rochester School of Medicine. My focus over the last ten years has been on working with young adults, children/adolescents, and their families. My expertise covers a wide array of therapeutic modalities and mental health diagnoses.

Prior to medical school, I worked in both marine and biochemical research venues and was coauthor on several research papers. I have an avid interest in the emerging field of neuroscience and frequently give talks to colleagues and students on current research topics.

Dr. Alicia Garcete is a board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist in practice for over 12 years. Her practice focuses on medication management, recognizing  family involvement is extremely important and is an integral part of treatment. Dr Garcete has treated a wide variety of patients. Her primary focus is treating depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD, PTSD and OCD. Additionally, she can provide supportive therapy and elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy but on occasions more therapy support may be needed, and the recommendation to bring a psychotherapist on the care team may occur to provide an optimal outcome. Dr. Garcete is bilingual and provides care in both Spanish and English.

Prior to Talkiatry, Dr Garcete treated children, adolescents, and adults was at the intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization levels of care with focus on behavioral approaches in the Depression recovery and Anxiety/OCD programs.

Dr. Garcete earned her Medical Degree from the Universidad Nacional de Asuncion, Facultad de Ciencias Medicas in Paraguay. She completed her general psychiatrist residency at Maimonides Medical Center in New York. She was also a Fellow in Psychoanalysis at the Psychoanalytic Institute, Affiliate to New York University School of Medicine, and completed her child and adolescent psychiatrist fellowship at Elmhurst Hospital Center, affiliate to Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Garcete also held a clinical assistant professor appointment from the department of psychiatry at SUNY Downstate Medical Center.

I am a Staff Psychiatrist at Talkiatry, board-certified in General Psychiatry, Pediatrics, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. My primary clinical focus is treating children and adolescents, and I have been caring for children and adolescents as a physician for more than 15 years. I received my medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, WA, before moving to Memphis to complete my residency in Pediatrics at the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center and Le Bonheur Children's Hospital. I completed my undergraduate studies at Haverford College in Pennsylvania. After completing training, I remained in Memphis and worked in the Le Bonheur Children's Hospital Emergency Department as a pediatrician. I then moved to Nashville to work at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt in the Emergency Department Fast Track and After-Hours Clinics. I transitioned to primary care pediatrics at Pediatric Associates of Davidson County for several years before returning to the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis to complete the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Post-Pediatric Portal Fellowship program. I draw on my years as a pediatrician working with families and children in my work as a psychiatrist.

I am a board-certified General and Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with over nine years of experience. My practice focuses on medication management, which is founded not only on evidence-based medicine but also on the understanding that a trusting therapeutic relationship is the cornerstone of behavioral health healing. I incorporate CBT, supportive therapy, and psychoeducation into my medication management appointments and may refer patients for additional psychotherapy to improve outcomes. I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Ursinus College, with a dual major in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology and Neuroscience. After receiving a Health Professions Scholarship from the Army, I obtained my medical degree from Jefferson Medical College. I went on to enter active duty military service and complete General Psychiatry residency training and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship training at Tripler Army Medical Center before completing active duty service as a staff psychiatrist and 101st Airborne Division psychiatrist at Fort Campbell, KY. There I cared for active duty service members and their families to manage depression, anxiety, trauma, and the unique stressors of military service.

I later transitioned to federal civilian service and served as a preceptor for Phase II Physician Assistant trainees and Army Social Work interns, reinforcing a passion for education that carried me to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC). During my time at WRNMMC, I served in several roles including Deputy Medical Director of Inpatient Psychiatry, core faculty for the National Capital Consortium Psychiatry Residency Program, Associate Program Director, and associate faculty at the Uniform Services University for Health Sciences (USUHS). Prior to transitioning out of federal service to join Talkiatry, I was repeatedly recognized for excellence in academics and mentorship and received multiple teaching awards. This zeal for education and mentorship, as well as humility, personal growth, and learning, translates directly into my philosophy for patient care.

I am an adult psychiatrist who holds board certification with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. I focus on medication management combined with supportive therapy during initial and follow-up visits. I received my medical degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Reno, NV, before moving to southern California to complete my residency at Loma Linda University. After completing training, I began working with the Southern California Permanente Medical Group in Riverside, CA, where I treated a variety of psychiatric disorders in an outpatient setting. In March of 2020, as the pandemic changed life and medicine forever, I adopted a strictly telepsychiatry role at my clinic. I have also held a staff psychiatrist position as an adult inpatient psychiatrist in Tennessee. I treat a wide variety of psychiatric disorders within the adult demographic.
