Dr. Esha Garg is a board-eligible psychiatrist who is starting her post-graduate practice in psychiatry. After completing an undergraduate degree in psychology at Johns Hopkins University, she completed her medical degree at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. She is a recent graduate of the Adult Psychiatry Residency program at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Garg's practice focuses on medication management but she believes in the importance of both therapy and medication management in treating mental illness. She offers medication management with supportive therapy in 30-minute follow up visits. She also utilizes referrals to therapists to enhance collaborative care and management of illness. After completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology with a focus in psychology from the University of California, Merced, she earned her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Ruch completed her General Psychiatry Residency at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in New York. Her clinical experience involves treating individuals of all age groups from diverse populations and socioeconomic backgrounds suffering from anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, and neurocognitive disorders. She has provided care in inpatient and outpatient psychiatric facilities, the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, emergency rooms, state facilities, and an inpatient chemical dependency center. She also performed pre-procedure psychological evaluations for bariatric and spinal cord surgeries, and psychiatric consult liaison services on medical units and has clinical training in inpatient and outpatient neurology. Her clinical experience incorporated treatment modalities such as pharmacotherapy and interventional psychiatry, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation and Spravato. Steven Warren, PMHNP

Steven Warren, PMHNP, has over 25 years of psychiatric nursing experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. He has provided extensive individual and group psychotherapy and education, and since 2017, has offered medication management and brief therapy in a collaborative community mental health setting. Steven earned his Bachelor of Nursing in 2011 and Master of Nursing in 2017 from Indiana University, and is ANCC board-certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

Steven values open and honest communication, working directly with patients to set clear, achievable treatment goals. He is dedicated to ensuring each person he works with feels heard, respected, and supported throughout their mental health journey. His approach emphasizes collaboration, empathy, and trust.

During the first session, Steven takes time to understand each patient’s history, concerns, and goals. He develops individualized treatment plans that reflect patient values, adapting them as needs evolve. Through a strong therapeutic relationship, he provides guidance and support to help patients achieve meaningful and lasting progress.

Erica Linnell, MD

Staff Psychiatrist

Dr. Erica Linnell is a board-certified adult psychiatrist. Her practice focuses on medication management and supportive therapy. Dr. Linnell is a graduate of Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, from which she graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha honors and earned the Glasgow-Rubin Certificate of Commendation for Academic Achievement Award. Dr. Linnell trained in psychiatry residencies at Brown University/Butler Hospital and at Harvard University/Mass General Hospital.

During medical school and residency, Dr. Linnell volunteered in community outreach programs that provided preventive health education and clinical services to homeless and under-served populations, taught elementary school children about the importance of healthy eating and physical activity, and hosted monthly support meetings for adolescents living with chronic diseases and their parents to foster connections and mentorship.

Dr. Linnell uses a compassionate, affable treatment style in her practice that specializes in psychopharmacology with conjuctive psychotherapy. She has experience in treating patients with depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, ADHD, and OCD.

Alisa Zezetko, MD

Dr. Zezetko completed her medical training at the University of Georgia/August University Medical Partnership. While in medical school, she received a Master of Business Administration at the University of Georgia. She then moved to North Carolina to complete her psychiatric residency training at the Brody School of Medicine/ECU Health Medical Center. During her training, she gained extensive clinical experience in working with adults and veterans in psychiatric inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings. She also served as a chief resident of the psychiatry program and published several case studies.

Dr. Zezetko relies on evidence-based treatments to guide pharmacotherapy decisions. In addition to medication management, she also incorporates supportive psychotherapy and psychodynamic psychotherapy techniques in her visits with her patients. When appropriate, Dr. Zezetko will refer patients for further psychotherapy and collaborate with therapists to provide more comprehensive care. Dr. Zezetko takes great pride in forming meaningful connections with her patients and listening to their concerns.

Dr. Zezetko will conduct a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and take time to understand patients’ individual concerns, mental health goals, and history. Dr. Zezetko believes in building a strong therapeutic relationship that empowers patients to join in a collaborative discussion for optimizing their individual treatment plans and reaching their defined goals.

Dennis Valerstain, MD

Dr. Dennis Valerstain is a board-certified Adult and Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. After completing his undergraduate education at Emory University, he attended medical school at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He subsequently completed psychiatry residency at University of Miami/Jackson Health System and further sub-specialized at University of Miami/Jackson Health System with a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Valerstain has had the opportunity of working with a diverse array of patients including children, adolescents, the severely mentally ill, veterans, and cancer patients across three distinct hospital systems. Dr. Valerstain has had varied clinical experiences in specialty inpatient psychiatry units, emergency psychiatry, consultation liaison psychiatry, psycho-oncology, and outpatient clinics via telemedicine and face to face interactions. Dr. Valerstain has experience working with patients of all ages, particularly those with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, Tic disorders, substance use disorders, and more. Dr. Valerstain's practice focuses on medication management and also employs empathic listening, supportive psychotherapy techniques, and a comprehensive and methodological approach to his visits. Given his broad and diverse training experiences, he enjoys problem solving and working collaboratively with patients (and their families) to navigate their complex issues and jointly focusing on simple solutions to work towards improving their mental health.

Violetta Aranda, LPC

Violetta Aranda, LPC is a native South Texan and second generation Mexican- American. She is a 2011 graduate of St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas and obtained full LPC licensure in Texas in August of 2017. Her practice focuses on cognitive behavioral modalities within a humanistic client-centered approach to foster healing through self-acceptance and self-awareness. She has over a decade's worth of experience working within the mental health field and fifteen years working directly with children and adolescents in various capacities. Before joining Talkiatry, Miss Aranda practiced exclusively within the community health sector and these experiences provided the opportunity to become fully immersed in Trauma and Crisis Management and fostered the passion for evolving research in the treatment of trauma-informed care. She now aspires to utilize these allocated experiences and passion for the field to promote mental health awareness, client advocacy, and quality of care.
