Leah E. Clary is a Licensed Professional counselor at Talkiatry. She has years of experience working with individuals of all ages from childhood to older adults. Leah E. Clary utilizes an eclectic counseling style. She understands that each and every person is unique and has individual needs, and is willing to adapt to what would benefit the individual. Leah believes that coordinating with all providers is important to achieving successful therapeutic experiences for the length of the engagement. After receiving her master's degree from Liberty University, Leah participated in an internship in Philadelphia working with first responders for crisis debriefing. While participating in this program, Leah also actively worked as an older adult protective services investigator within the city limits. In order to achieve her goal of becoming an LPC, Leah began working with families in a community-based program focusing on relational components. In this program, Leah worked with therapists of different backgrounds, building on her knowledge of communication techniques and team-based therapy, and even training new team members as needed. Throughout her professional career, Leah has worked with individuals with various diagnosed and undiagnosed conditions and adapted to their individual needs. Her passion is to assist the underserved demographic of individuals working through infertility issues and processing the idea of adoption.

Kendrah Parker, LMHC

After graduating from the University of Northern Iowa in 2014, Kendrah worked at a non-profit organization that focused on substance abuse and mental health. She worked there from 2014-2021 initially as a substance abuse counselor and later transitioned into a Clinical Director position. Most recently, Kendrah has been serving patients in a private practice mental health therapist role. Kendrah's interests and specialties are Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, Marriage and Family, Culture and Diversity, Dual Diagnosis, Meditation and Dating Violence/Abuse. Janice Moran, LPC

Janice Moran, Ph.D., LPC-S, LPC, and LCMHC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in Texas, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado, and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in Utah. With over 15 years of experience, she provides trauma-informed, feminist, LGBTQ-affirming, and disability-affirming care. She is skilled in EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Family Systems approaches, and has expertise in individual, couples, family, and group therapy, as well as clinical supervision for LPC Associates and LPCCs. Janice is also trained in conducting immigration evaluations, including hardship waivers, asylum, VAWA, T-visa, and U-visa cases. She holds a Ph.D. in Family Therapy, an M.S. in Rehabilitation Counseling, an M.A. in Women’s Studies, and a B.A. in Political Science. In addition to her clinical work, she serves as an Adjunct Instructor at Texas Woman’s University.

Giulia Ferrero, LCSW

Giulia Ferrero earned her Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Sociology, Ethnic Studies, and Women & Gender Studies at the University of Colorado in Boulder, and received her Master of Social Work from Columbia University with an emphasis in children, youth, and families. Giulia is licensed by the State of Texas as a master social worker (LMSW), and is dedicated to helping people who struggle with mental health concerns. She believes that change happens when people are given the support they need to draw on their own strengths and realize their potential to live fulfilling, happy lives. Giulia advocates a holistic approach when working with her clients and incorporates various treatment styles including, but not limited to, cognitive-behavioral, family systems, solution-focused, and psychodynamic. During her graduate program, Giulia worked extensively with children, utilizing play therapy techniques alongside a trauma-focused treatment approach. She specializes in individual therapy with an emphasis on issues such as PTSD, autism, stress, anxiety and depression, grief and loss, women's issues, family/relationship issues, life transitions, and personal growth. Giulia especially enjoys working with young adults and is committed to working with each person in a confidential, effective manner to help the individual accomplish his/her/their goals.

Frank Miller, LPC

Frank Miller is a Licensed Professional Counselor with years of experience in a variety of mental health settings. Frank has worked in hospitals, community mental health care, a treatment center for clients struggling with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, as well as providing individual outpatient therapy to a wide variety of clients.

Frank attended graduate school at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX, while working in the mental health field, earning a Masters degree in their Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program in 2019. Frank has provided individualized, client-focused therapy for adults and adolescents since that time, helping others to find purpose and meaning in their lives.

Frank utilizes a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Reality Therapy, depending on the client’s needs. Frank believes that we can all benefit from eliminating distorted thinking leading to negativity and self-defeat, and becoming more emotionally regulated, stress tolerant, and mindful, putting us back into the driver’s seat of our daily lives. We may then achieve the freedom to positively fulfill our needs, pursue our goals, and feel confident in our journey towards balance and peace of mind.

Jannise McKamey-Bruell, LPC

Jannise McKamey-Bruell began her career working in the field of education after she completed both a Bachelor of Liberal Arts and a Master of Liberal Arts at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with an emphasis on Psychology, Women's Studies, and Child and Family Studies. After relocating to Georgia, Ms. McKamey-Bruell attended Argosy University where she completed an additional Master of Arts Degree, with honors, in Community Counseling in addition to receiving a Marriage and Family Therapy Certification. Ms. McKamey-Bruell is a National Certified Counselor (NCC), a Distance Certified Counselor (DCC), a Board Certified Tele-Mental Health Provider (BC-TMH), and holds a Crisis Worker Certification from the American Association of Suicidology. Ms. McKamey-Bruell is also a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for Cobb County Juvenile Court. Prior to private practice, her clinical experience included working as a therapist at the YWCA, providing domestic violence and sexual assault counseling, facilitating domestic violence support and therapy groups, working with children and families at several community mental health agencies, and working at a mental health crisis line. In addition to her private practice, Ms. McKamey-Bruell also provides online therapy to clients through a secure website and texting platform. Ms. McKamey-Bruell believes in helping others to help themselves. She provides therapy to individuals with an emphasis on crisis intervention, skill-building, self-esteem, attachment issues, relationship problems, and communication repair.
