Dr. Jacobs is board-certified in Adult Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Throughout her career, Dr. Jacobs has been committed to psychiatric research, educational initiatives, and organizational efforts to advance mental health care education and patient care in communities. She is an active member and leader in several medical and psychiatric organizations. Dr. Michael Gravenstein earned his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine, where he also completed his psychiatry residency. During training, he was recognized with multiple awards, including the Malcom Randall VA Resident of the Year Award, the Ross A. McElroy Psychotherapy Award, and the John “J.D.” Dorian Award for best sense of humor. He has worked across outpatient, inpatient, and consult liaison settings, and has experience treating a wide range of conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, personality disorders, and transitional age concerns. He also has expertise working with LGBTQIA+ patients and provides psychodynamic, CBT, and supportive therapies.

Dr. Taylor Brady, MD, MBA, is a psychiatrist who found his passion for mental health care through the power of listening to people’s stories. His background includes medical training at the University of Utah, leadership as Student Body President, and psychiatric residency at the University of Texas, where he served as Inpatient Chief Resident and received awards for both clinical excellence and medical education. he brings that same commitment and curiosity to his work with patients. Outside of clinical care, he is deeply interested in narrative medicine—the way our personal stories shape our mental health—and uses that lens to help patients find meaning, clarity, and strength in their own journeys.

As a psychiatrist, Dr. Taylor Brady approach is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and respect for your unique story. Dr. Raafay Deen is a board eligible adult psychiatrist. Amy Lowry, MD

Dr. Amy Lowry is a board-certified psychiatrist who earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston after completing her undergraduate studies at Texas Lutheran University. She was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Navy and completed her psychiatry residency at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. She has provided psychiatric care in outpatient settings across Louisiana and North Carolina, focusing on adult and young adult populations. Dr. Lowry brings extensive experience in comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy, utilizing cognitive-behavioral (CBT), psychodynamic, supportive, and dialectical behavioral (DBT) therapy approaches. Her passion lies in holistic, compassionate, and evidence-based care for a wide range of conditions including depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, and life transitions.

Gusta Shurdut, MD

Dr.Gusta Shurdut is a board-certified adult psychiatrist with 8 year experience. She completed her medical training at SUNY Downstate Medical center in Brooklyn, and psychiatric residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, NYC. After her residency, she worked as an assistant professor at Mount Sinai Psychiatric Ambulatory Services. Dr.Shurdut graduated magna cum laude from Columbia University with an undergraduate degree in biology. Prior to moving to New York, she obtained a degree in communications and public relations and worked as a journalist at her hometown in Latvia.

Dr.Shurdut believes in individual, empathetic, and collaborative treatment approach. Through her residency and work experiences, Dr.Shurdut has developed expertise to treat various mental health conditions including mood disorders, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, PTSD. While her primary focus is medication management, she also incorporates CBT, psychodynamic and supportive psychotherapy.

Dr.Shurdut’s goal is empowering patients to participate in their healthcare choices. As a psychiatrist, she feels honored to witness the complexity of the human experience, and curious to explore the factors that contribute to it.  On intake appointment, she will take time to understand your concern, provide assessment, discuss treatment options and collaboratively decide on most appropriate action.
