Andrew Miller, MD

Dr. Andrew Miller is a board-certified psychiatrist with extensive experience treating patients across Indiana. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Indiana University, followed by his Doctorate of Medicine and residency training in psychiatry. He went on to complete a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry and maintains active involvement in professional organizations, including serving as past president of the Indiana Council of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Outside of medicine, Dr. Miller values time with his wife and two children and enjoys sports, Lego building, and supporting Indiana athletics.

Dr. Miller believes in building a collaborative therapeutic relationship grounded in respect and open communication. He strives to create a safe, supportive environment where patients of all ages—children, adolescents, and adults—feel heard and understood. Dr. Green (she/her) holds the position of staff psychiatrist at Talkiatry. She is board-certified in adult psychiatry. She has extensive experience in various settings including inpatient, outpatient, consult-liaison, emergency, Veteran, and community-based environments. She is licensed in the states of Maryland, New York, and Virginia. Dr. Green's practice focuses on the integration of medication management and psychotherapy. Her practice style is collaborative to establish trust and build rapport while meeting patient-specific goals. Dr. Green approaches patient care from a holistic perspective that is individualized, evidence-based, and patient-centered. She received her medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology's College of Osteopathic Medicine on Long Island, NY. Her adult residency training was completed at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond, VA. In addition to general, adult psychiatry, Dr. Green is clinically experienced and interested in treating patients of a wide variety. She is particularly interested in treating patients with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, eating disorders, trauma-related disorders, and personality disorders. Dr. Mohammed Islam is board certified in both General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He completed his undergraduate studies at Stony Brook University and attended medical school at the American University of Integrative Sciences. He completed his psychiatry residency training at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center followed by completion of a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at University Hospitals/Case Western Reserve University where he served as Chief Fellow. Prior to joining Talkiatry, he has trained/worked in a combination of various healthcare systems across New York, New Jersey, Ohio and Kentucky.

Dr. Islam treats patients of various ages- in addition to medication management he is a strong proponent of therapy in various forms. His approach to the treatment of adults and children/adolescents incorporates the impact of various things such as family history of mental health/medical conditions as well as any adverse childhood experiences/trauma. In addition to screening for common conditions such as bipolar disorder, anxiety and depression in all patients, he also emphasizes the importance of screening for conditions that can manifest in childhood (such as ADHD, Autism) as well as first-episode psychosis in young adults.

From the initial visit and onward, Dr. Islam prioritizes a collaborative effort with his patients (and at times their families). In addition to medication adjustments, he emphasizes the importance of optimizing additional tools such as therapy while making appropriate lifestyle changes. During every follow up visit, he takes care to ensure that the current treatment is not hindering his patient’s progress in any way.

Thy Vo, MD

Dr. Thy Vo is a board-certified psychiatrist who specializes in the treatment of adults, adolescents, and children. Dr. Vo approaches patients as whole human beings with the goal of providing a safe therapeutic space that will help patients understand and address their suffering as well as fostering healthy emotional expression and self-awareness. Dr. Vo is collaborative with treatment needs, which may include medication and/or supportive or insight-oriented psychotherapy in 30 or 45 minute follow-up visits. She received a Master's in Global Health Systems and Development at Tulane University and then received her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine. Afterwards, she completed her adult psychiatry residency and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship training at Western Psychiatric Hospital of University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. During her training, Dr. Vo has treated patients of all ages and diverse backgrounds with particular interest in immigrants and refugees. She works with people dealing with trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD, relationship conflicts, life transitions, and existential concerns. She has also received additional training in psychodynamic psychotherapy.

Robert Werner, MD

Dr. Blake Werner is an adult and addiction psychiatry board certified physician who has been in practice for the past 4 years. He received his medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, TX, before moving to charming Charleston, SC to complete his residency in adult psychiatry. Following residency, Dr. Werner navigated his way to the northeast to complete a fellowship in addiction psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine. Post-fellowship, Dr. Werner joined the Yale faculty as an assistant professor and was employed through the Veterans Affairs, treating substance use disorders in an outpatient clinical setting. Through his clinical practice, Dr. Werner has worked with a variety of patients across the northeast via telemedicine to treat their general mental health concerns, substance use disorders, as well as behavioral addictions. While Dr. Werner's clinical practice post residency has primarily focused on substance use disorders, he has spent the last couple of years on the inpatient psychiatric setting, assisting patients with a wide variety of mental health conditions as well as enjoying time working with residents and medical students. In his role as a psychiatrist, Dr. Werner enjoys working collaboratively with patients to develop a beneficial and effective treatment plan aimed at fostering emotional well-being. While primarily utilizing medications as tools to assist patients in achieving their desired level of functioning, he is well versed in motivation enhancement therapy and prefers psychodynamic and supportive therapeutic processes. James Bolton, MD

Dr. Coy Bolton was born and raised in South Texas, and was a teacher before becoming a physician. He completed medical school training and residency at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, TX. Dr. Bolton has wanted to be a Psychiatrist for as long as he could remember. He will do his best to thoroughly and carefully work with his patients to determine the most accurate Psychiatric diagnosis/diagnoses possible.

While working together, Dr. Bolton may ask sensitive questions, but will do so in a nonjudgmental way with the only goal of helping his patients. He will also work in psychotherapy techniques during the sessions together. Dr. Bolton takes a holistic approach when working with patients, that focuses on multiple aspects of their lives.

Dr. Bolton prides himself on creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where the focus is simply on helping patients. He strives to work collaboratively with his patients, to ensure that he and the patient are both on the same page when it comes to their mental healthcare.
