Nilsa De Jesus Rosario, MD

Dr. De Jesus is a bilingual psychiatrist, fluent in English and Spanish. She is a double board-certified psychiatrist in Adult Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. De Jesus provides medication management services in combination with supportive therapy during 30-minute follow-up visits. Dr. De Jesus received her medical degree from the Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. She completed her Adult Psychiatry residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL. Subsequently, Dr. De Jesus pursued her fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Pennsylvania and was a Chief Resident during her last year of training. Dr. De Jesus has been providing psychiatric services in the community mental health setting for 8 years. Her clinical focus has been in treating children, adolescents, and young adults with depression, anxiety, posttraumatic stress disorder, and ADHD. Ye Kyung Song, MD

Dr. Ye Kyung Song is a board-certified psychiatrist with both an M.D. and a Ph.D. in medical humanities and ethics from the University of Texas Medical Branch. She completed her residency at Duke University and has experience practicing in both outpatient and inpatient settings. In addition to her clinical training, Dr. Song has pursued advanced training in several therapeutic modalities, including the Collaborative Approach to Management of Suicidality (CAMS) and Radically Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (RO-DBT).

Dr. Song takes a collaborative, values-driven approach to treatment, emphasizing partnership in decision-making and tailoring care to each individual’s needs. She uses medication thoughtfully and only when appropriate, considering the whole picture of a patient’s health and life. Her goal is to help patients understand the underlying reasons for their symptoms by examining patterns, conflicts, and meaning. During the initial appointment, Dr. Song focuses on understanding a patient’s clinical history, current concerns, and personal goals. Rachel Meyen, MD

Dr. Meyen graduated from the University of Missouri School of Medicine and completed her psychiatry residency training at Harvard South Shore. She completed a fellowship in geriatric psychiatry through Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA. Dr. Meyen was employed by the Department of Veteran Affairs for 10 years prior to joining Talkiatry. She is board certified in both adult and geriatric psychiatry. She specializes in depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, OCD, ADHD, and many other mental health disorders.

Dr. Meyen is a Harvard trained, board certified, adult psychiatrist who specializes in creating individually tailored treatment plans for patients using high quality evidence and up-to-date clinical guidelines. She has a passion for shared decision making, which means empathetic listening to each patient, and making a customized plan that supports their individual values and preferences.  

When meeting with a patient for the first time, Dr. Meyen carefully reviews current symptoms, past history, patient values/preferences. She works with the patient to develop individual treatment goals. Dr. Meyen values developing a trusting relationship with each patient and wants each patient to feel heard and valued.

Dana-Jean La Haie, MD

Dr. La Haie is board certified in adult psychiatry and has been in practice for over 15 years.  She completed her residency at Banner Good Samaritan (now Banner University) Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona.  After completing her residency training, Dr. La Haie worked with the severely mentally ill population for several years, then transitioned to a private practice setting that offered the interventional options of transcranial magnetic stimulation and ketamine infusion.  Most recently, Dr. La Haie has worked at the Phoenix VA treating veterans, with focus on PTSD, depression and anxiety.  Dr. La Haie has held an academic appointment at the University of Arizona Medical School and has spent her professional career supervising/teaching medical students and psychiatry residents.

Dr. La Haie's practice focuses on medication management and providing psychoeducation to her patients. However, if indicated, Dr. La Haie may believe that additional therapy is also needed and ask that you bring a therapist into your care team to provide the best outcome.

Dr. La Haie has experience treating a large variety of mental health conditions across a variety of populations. Tyler Scott Alderette, MD

Dr. Tyler Alderette is a board-certified psychiatrist with experience treating patients in outpatient and telehealth settings. He earned his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine and completed his psychiatry residency at Larkin Community Hospital in Miami, Florida. His clinical interests include depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, ADHD, trauma-related conditions, psychotic disorders, and substance use concerns. Dr. Alderette provides evidence-based medication management integrated with psychotherapy-informed care and is committed to staying current with advances in psychiatric treatment to ensure safe and effective care.

Dr. Alderette strives to create a warm, nonjudgmental, and respectful environment where patients feel comfortable sharing their experiences. His approach is collaborative and patient-centered, working closely with patients to set clear goals and select treatments aligned with their values. Anne Rohs, MD

Dr. Anne Rohs is board certified in both adult and geriatric psychiatry and has practiced psychiatry for over 10 years. She has extensive experience treating critically ill patients in hospital settings. This experience allowed her to hone skills necessary to care for individuals with complex psychiatric illnesses complicated by medical conditions. Dr. Rohs' approach to care involves providing a consistent, empathic, non-judgmental space to develop and attain shared treatment goals. She is committed to developing a partnership that is always respectful of patients' points of view, and she utilizes this knowledge to inform treatment plans that are safe, effective, and agreeable to patients. At the same time, she is sensitive to financial or insurance coverage factors that may impact treatment. After completing residency training at Montefiore Medical Center, Dr. Rohs was invited to serve an additional year as Senior Chief Resident for its adult psychiatry residency training program. She spent the next year as a fellow in Geriatric Psychiatry before her appointment as an attending physician on Montefiore's acute psychiatric inpatient unit. During her training years, Dr. Rohs made several trips to Uganda to serve as an attending physician with the Doctors for Global Health Project. Dr. Rohs subsequently transferred to Bronx Psychiatric Center (BPC), where she treated inpatients and outpatients suffering from severe mental disorders. At BPC, she expanded her knowledge base and became an expert in advanced psychopharmacology. Dr. Rohs also spent time prior to joining Talkiatry as an attending physician at NYU Langone Hospital. Dr. Rohs specializes in treating a variety of psychiatric conditions including mood disorders, psychotic disorders, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and dementia. She is attuned to the direct and indirect mental health impact of the pandemic and its aftermath on patients of all ages. Dr. Rohs does not usually treat ADHD patients.
