Dr. TreSina E. Steger (Dr. Tre) is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) who has practiced as a mental health therapist for several years. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Mount Olive College, in NC, a Master of Science in Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University, in MN, and a Doctorate in Education, in Higher Educational Leadership from Liberty University in VA. She has worked in business, outpatient mental health, non-profits, in private practice, and with the military. She is a National Certified Counselor (NCC), a Board Certified Tele-Mental Health Provider (BC-TMH), Certified Dialectical Behavioral Therapist (CDBT), and Certified Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (C-TFCBT). Dr. Tre uses person-centered, solution-focused, DBT, CPT, CBT, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, psychodynamic, and other approaches to assist clients. She has extensive background in helping clients navigate stress, anxiety, family conflicts, eating disorders, and anger management. With over five years in Intensive Outpatient programs, she has led group, family, and individual sessions, while her 15 years as a high school counselor reflect her strong connection with young people. Stacy values respect, sensitivity, and compassion in every interaction and is committed to tailoring treatment plans to each patient’s unique needs. She believes seeking help is a courageous step and is dedicated to empowering her clients in their journey toward a more fulfilling life.

Jennifer Phillips, LCSW

Jennifer Phillips is a Licensed Clinical Social worker who has worked in the mental health field since 2013.  During graduate school, Jennifer completed her internships at the Tuscaloosa County jail, the University of Alabama Student Veterans Center, and the Birmingham Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center in their Health Care for Homeless Veterans program.  Jennifer went to undergraduate and graduate schools in Alabama and moved to Arizona in 2013 to work with the Department of Veterans Affairs to continue working with homeless veterans.  Jennifer also has experience teaching at Pima Community College and is a clinical supervisor for associate level clinicians through the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.  

Jennifer’s prior working experience and training has been with adults, homeless veterans, Native Americans, LGBTQIA, women, and individuals in rural or remote areas, providing access to much needed mental health services in provider shortage areas.  She enjoys working with patients who have anxiety, depression, insomnia, mood disorders, and self-esteem issues.  She is trained in geriatrics and especially loves working with adults over the age of 65.  

Jennifer is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mind-Body Approach, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Prolonged Grief Disorder (where the patient is experiencing grief for at least 12 months).  As she is trained in several different treatment modalities, Jennifer can customize therapy to meet everyone’s needs.

Bracha (Brooke) Winograd is a licensed clinical social worker with comprehensive experience working in the mental health field. Brooke has worked directly with clients of various ages and demographics living with a variety of mental health conditions. Brooke completed her undergraduate degree with The College at Brockport in Upstate New York and her master's degree in social work through Nazareth University in Rochester, NY. In her work with an outpatient mental health clinic and day treatment programming, Brooke collaborated closely with psychiatric prescribers to meet clients� diagnostic and therapeutic mental health needs. Brooke has been practicing clinical social work in a variety of settings, focusing on treating depression, anxiety, trauma, and other mental health symptoms that challenge individuals on their journey to wellness. Working with Brooke is collaborative in nature, with the goal being to have the client's goals and preferences front and center throughout treatment. Brooke is trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), trauma-focused CBT, person-centered care, and motivational interviewing (MI). Ms. Whitaker has worked with many populations including, Women, Men, adults aged 18 and up, homeless population, parents with children in foster care and parents in need support and learning communication skills with teens. Ms. Whitaker has knowledge of working with clients recently discharged from a psychiatric hospital setting as well as the.  hospital discharge planning process, and emergency room care. Her primary areas of focus are helping clients that suffer with Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Stress, Trauma, Relationship issues, PTSD, Life transitions as well as Emotional Dysregulation. Ms. Whitaker enjoys working closely with clients that struggle with healthy lifestyles, poor decision making, suffering with substance use disorder and people dealing with chronic homelessness, Domestic violence and challenges of daily living. Ms. Whitaker uses treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, Supportive Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Trauma focused Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and many other modalities. She discuss the length of sessions and the frequency of meetings, invite questions from client and describe their role in the treatment process. Clinical assessments by use of standardized tools PHQ-9, GAD-7, and client interview and report. Her trauma-informed, culturally sensitive approach draws on Attachment Theory, TF-CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Polyvagal Theory.
