After completing her training, Dr. Orellana remained in the school, where she worked as an Assistant Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, supervising and teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and treating patients with various psychiatric conditions.

Dr. Orellanahas experience in treating treatment-resistant mood disorders with electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).
