Dawn Feldpausch, LCSW

Dawn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. She has over 18 years of experience in the field of mental health including Outpatient, Community Mental Health and Assertive Community Treatment. Dawn works with adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self-esteem, and PTSD using an eclectic approach to suit your individual needs. Other modalities used are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Positive Psychology. Dawn is easy to talk to and her number one priority is to help provide a safe, open, non-judgmental place to share your personal experiences. She focuses on providing the skills to help manage your symptoms while working in tandem with your psychiatrist to provide the best outcome for you. Dawn received her Master of Social Work degree at Eastern Michigan University and is Certified as a Clinical Trauma Professional. While in Michigan, Dawn worked extensively with the Community Mental Health. Initially, she worked as an advocate working with clients who were diagnosed with a serious and persistent mental illness or with a dual diagnosis. She facilitated psychoeducation groups, provided crisis intervention and case management services. At Henry Ford Allegiance Health, Dawn played an integral role in implementing the integration between physical and mental health. Combining a Psychiatric Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic with a Primary Care Practice utilizing General Medical Education Resident Psychiatrists. Moving on to Florida, Dawn worked at the Marion County Jail assessing suicidal risk of inmates and provided brief supportive therapy. Ultimately, Dawn began her own virtual private practice, continuing her passion of helping others find the skills to begin to live again regardless of their imperfections.

Alexia Ford is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience in various aspects of mental health and co-occurring disorders. She obtained her MSW from Clark Atlanta University (Atlanta, GA.) and later obtained her MDiv and MPT from Columbia Theological Seminary (Decatur, GA.).

Alexia is a wife, mother, daughter & sister who has also experienced life's challenges that may identify with your story in some way. Alexia is known for her empathic listening and attention to verbal and non-verbal cues. Her approach is individualized and non-judgmental in hopes of creating and holding a safe and comfortable space for all to be their true, authentic selves. Alexia is intentional with developing rapport and meeting clients where they are without criticism but will also gently challenge stagnant behaviors respectfully and when necessary.

Alexia prefers to work with adult age to geriatric age clients and couples using strengths-based and affirming perspectives. She uses several modalities, such as, CBT, ACT, IPT, BA, Solution Focused therapy, Client centered therapy, Mindfulness, meditations, breathing exercises, positive affirmations, spirituality, bereavement, existential concerns and other appropriate evidenced based approaches and interventions. Alexia is a “movie and series buff” and will often incorporate movie scenes, themes and character traits to add to discussion and use to demonstrate examples of behaviors and consequences.

Jenna McDonald, LMHC

Jenna McDonald is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York State who has extensive experience working in the mental health field. Jenna attended undergraduate school in Amherst, NY , graduate school in Buffalo, NY, and completed internship programs during her time there at both schools. Jenna continues to obtain knowledge through regular trainings and certifications that interest her, including EMDR.

Jenna has worked directly with many different kinds of clients, who have experienced an array of mental health concerns at all levels. Jenna also has experience in working with comorbid disorders that can at times go hand-in-hand such as anxiety & depression, or homelessness & substance use. Jenna has been working in mental and behavioral health for approximately 10 years and continued after being fully licensed, which required 3000 hours of supervised experience as well. As an LMHC , Jenna likes to focus on helping those with anxiety, depression, relationship/employment concerns, and overall transitions of life ( school/work/medical issues/moving stressors etc), which may hinder daily life. Working with Jenna, treatment is tailored to the individual client in order to choose the treatment plan that fits that individual’s personal struggles.

Cherie McCarthy, LMFT

Cherie McCarthy is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with experience working across a wide range of populations. Early in her career, she served as an addictions specialist in high schools, prisons, and intensive outpatient and residential settings. Cherie earned her master’s degree in counseling psychology from National University and completed her intern hours working with adolescents in foster care and adults with severe mental illness in community-based programs. Over the past four years, she has focused on mental and behavioral health in a telehealth setting, treating lower-acuity concerns such as anxiety, depression, panic, and adjustment disorders, along with trauma work using EMDR.

Cherie believes it is both a privilege and a responsibility to create a safe, supportive space where patients can clarify goals and develop aspirations. Her work emphasizes identifying barriers to success and examining unhelpful core beliefs, allowing patients to move toward meaningful and sustainable change.

Cherie spends the first one to two sessions gaining a clear understanding of where patients are coming from and where they would like to go. From there, she collaborates with patients to develop individualized goals, revisiting and refining them over time to support clarity, growth, and progress throughout therapy.

Amanda Bevan, LISW

Amanda Bevan is a licensed therapist with five years of experience working with adults. She holds a Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University and is licensed as an LISW-S in Ohio and an LCSW in Maine and Virginia. Amanda has experience treating anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, life transitions, and self-esteem, and has worked primarily with adults in community mental health, healthcare, and outpatient substance use and mental health settings. Her clinical work draws from evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness-based therapy, motivational interviewing, and strengths-based care.
